I liked Gustin in Arrow, but I haven't been overly excited by anything I've seen from the Flash yet, including the two S.T.A.R Labs characters they introduced. I'll give it a shot, of course, but my hopes are the highest. I'm also not sure I trust CW to have a show with such a heavy effects-based character. Smallville worked to an extent, but he used non-strength powers maybe a few times an episode, usually just for a brief climax at the end. Barry runs fast...all the time. Idk, we'll see.

iZombie makes me sad.

Reading iZombe you could tell it would make an awesome TV show. Glad there actually going about it. Hopefully they stay close to the comics. although i looks like it's loosely based on the comic :/

Huzzah Rob Thomas has a new show for me to watch!

I Zombie the comic was amazing and could of made a great show, but we are not getting that at all. This show just wanted the name and none of the amazing characters or stories. Instead, it looks like we are getting a lame cop drama with a supernatural twist. I will pass.

@fables87: Do not get your hopes up. The main character in the TV show is named Liv because they wanted that lame joke and it's shaping up to be a cop drama with some humor. Plus there will be no Ellie or Spot.

If Flash is half as good as Arrow it'll be more watchable than most shows on TV.

No idea, but the show runner, pretty much just wants another Veronica Mars type of show but this one a cop drama. No vampires no Wereterrior no awesome Allred 60's ghost girl to me that is no iZombie.

I'm conflicted with iZombie. I really like Rob Thomas, but it seems like they're changing a whole lot from the comic, right down to the main character's name. They're basically only keeping the "girl needs to eat brains and gets that person's memories" and pitching everything else.

As a Veronica Mars fan I was super excited to hear Rob Thomas was doing iZombie. But after hearing how much it'll depart from the source material I'm pretty skeptical.

Not a fan of the Flash costume in the photos and I am worried about what the super speed will look like but I am looking forward to it.

Marvel can keep the movie theaters, DC is going for television with 4 shows!

Why is The Flash going to the CW news? We all knew this.

I don't get why the Flash show is live action, it would be better animated. Heck, everything comic related looks better animated. Come to think of it, animation looks better period. Why are we still wasting time on live action?

We don't utilize animation because most of the witless stooges we call adults think that animation, beyond any sane and logical explanation, is exclusively reserved for children.

It's the same idiot reasons most of these fools Don't read comics but watch mutilated adaptations of them on television and in the cinema. Can't be seen dead watching a cartoon or reading comics but translate that material into a socially accepted format and see how quick they eat it up.

Never read iZombie, but I love most of Rob Thomas' work.

This is something the world needs to realise.

They seem to be taking their time on Flash. His origin was teased on Arrow ages ago. I would have thought they'd want to follow through with it as soon as possible.

Has Agent Carter been picked up yet? Netflix isn't really Tv now is it. Dc just announced 9 more movies not including SVB, and Mos 2.

@patrat18: Yea I think I'd take the Marvel movie universe over some shows on CW lol, and Netflix is tv but better. No PG 13 restrictions and the shows are all gonna be part of the same universe as the movies. DC can announce all the movies they want, until they learn how develope characters outside Superman and Batman Im not that excited. And Im dying to see and epic Aquaman film personally.

Neflix is NOT better than regular television. You have to wait months and sometimes a years to get your favorite shows, which comes from tv. Dc is heading in a different direction than Marvel, they are releasing Justice league before the other characters get a stand alone film. It's a great idea, if they can pull it off. They've been developing characters outside of Superman and Batman since Arrow started. Now that Arrow is a success, they can make a live action Green arrow movie since alot of fans now know who he is. Aquaman will be in the justice league.

in hindsight i apologize for ruining your celebration, agent carter just got picked up, as well as Agents of Shield renewed and im ecstatic, so i understand why you were so enthusiastic earlier. however i dont agree with dc dominating tv, but for now lets just both be happy.

I'll give them both a shot. I wasn't initially crazy about their choice for Barry Allen, but he made it work and I look forward to what they do with it. I, Zombie I've never read, but it sounds incredibly interesting.
