@New_World_Order: why? he's just trapped inside the Negative Zone and he's immortal so unless Galactus ate him then everyone should assume that he's alive and will be back eventually

I'm just gonna assume hes dead until further notice. He was nowhere to be seen at Caps funeral. The only this would be forgivable is if Thor became Galactus' herald. Now that would be pretty sweet.

@micah: But didn't Ultimate Peter Parker die because the car he hit Norman with exploded? The most popular Ultimate character was taken out by a car explosion. I feel like, by comparison, crashing a ship into Galactus isn't such a bad way to go out...

Thor isn't dead

What is it with Bendis and crappy over dramatic funerals! this pretty much gonna be Ultimate Fallout, Secret Invasion aftermath, Avengers Dissembled all over again...

I cannot wait for character who barely spoke to captain america to go say nonsense about how great he was and then cry, and walk away. Heck given how insulting the ultimate universe has become to its own golden era I would not rule out Bruce banner appearing and say "yh he was a jerk to me, lied to me, bullied me behind my back and used me as a weapon but i love him he's the nicest person in the world, truly he embodied the spirit of modern liberal america"

What most surprising is that of all the ultimate characters to not, its the biggest failure commercially and blandest characters in the ultimate universe - the Ultimate Fantastic Four. How is that least successful element is the one team that survived through! I blame those losers who go to ever convention and ask for a ultimate fantastic four return.

But hey there always Next Year's Ultimate Event when sales begin to decline for Ultimate FF

God thanks Bendis for killing off Ult Cap and Thor so you could ship Miles & Kitty. On a side note why is no one mourning Thor? He picked up Kitty's slack for being worthless in the battle. I don't like where the Ultimate universe is going.

@maddpanda531: The last scene he's in is him jumping out of a plane after crashing the ship into galactus mouth. I highly doubt they would end arguably one of the most popular Ultimate characters that way. If he still does die in the future it will be epic

@micah: I guess that's a good point. I mean, it IS a comic book.

But, then again, this is the Ultimate Universe, where "Dead means dead". That having been said, I wouldn't be surprised if Cap stays dead, but gets replaced by a new Cap, in the fashion of Ultimate Spider-Man and Ultimate Wolverine.
