Such great art! Was more a fan of Justin Jordan on the book but I think Peter Milligan might do good as well.

I'm not fond of Milligan, so his announcement as a writer actually caused me to decide to drop the title. Ultimately, I'll wait for reviews and maybe get the trade.

I already noticed a continuity error though: Dox and Alyssa were the Last Abettors...who are these others? Where did they come from?

I love the new look/suit of SM! This is the one Valiant title that I've been reading since the very first issue since the big relaunch. There have been a few ups and downs, story-wise, and I really hope it's going to be more consistent again. SM is such an interesting character. He deserves good stories and I think Peter Milligan is a good fit as writer. We'll see!

Can't wait for this! Really digging the art too! Liking the direction this is taking. I read the earlier issues of Shadowman on its initial relaunch but after a few issues or so the quality of the story really got watered down and the art become really inconsistent, with the exception of the #0 and I think issue #10 that continued on the Master Darque storyline and how the Shadowman loa was created. Mambo's design looks cool too.

I was really excited for this, but idk now. it has some pretty weird art.

you're crazy RDLT is the best Shadowman artist out there right now. His work on the title when it was struggling was the only thing keeping me interested.

I'm so glad Valiant gives us this long preview. I feel a deserve a free peak after dumping money into the quarter machine that is this comic and constantly coming up with nothing. I've already dropped it. But maybe if it stays good for awhile, gets good reviews, I'll come back.

I was kind of getting bored with this series already, and then they announced Peter Milligan would be taking over. I'm going to drop the book after #12. I don't think Milligan is a bad writer, but he's been on a real losing streak lately, between Justice League Dark and Red Lanterns.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that editorial interference was behind those failures, knowing DC's recent history. But this preview really isn't selling to me that he is the right guy for this book. I don't like the idea of Jack being crazy or being on the run from the Abettors. There is a mystery element here that leads me to believe everything is not exactly what it seems, but I just can't extend enough trust in Milligan that he knows what he's doing.

It is nice that the book is back to a single artist. None of the artists have been bad, but the inconsistency has been annoying.

The art has improved imo and suits the dark and strange world of Shadowman.

Have issues 5-12 waiting to be read but I ordered Vol 1 of trades because I couldn't find them in single issues and it ended up getting back ordered :( Should arrive tomorrow or Saturday, but all the issues I already have are just sitting there taunting me.

I've never read Shadowman but I've heard lots of praises for it. I'm going to pick it up when this issue comes out, though.
