The cover to the upcoming issue of ' Justice Society of America' #38 is not only gorgeous, but it is a fantastic image that speaks volumes. If you were a fan of Mr. Terrific then I am sure this cover will certainly speak to you. With the very odd actions of many of the team members, the 'Justice Society' as a team has grown relatively vulnerable at a time when they should be stronger than ever. A team of bounty hunters is on the hunt for the members of the team. Will they manage to survive, or will we see another member fall as we saw with Mr. Terrific? The solid creative team Bill Willingham, Jesus Merino and Matthew Sturges continue to develop what promises to be a fantastic story. ' Justice Society of America' #38 drops on October 28th and the preview panels are courtesy of DC. Will you be checking out the upcoming issue? Have you been reading "JSA"?

I don't get why everyone thinks he's going to die, he's obviously coming back at the end of the issue.

I'm kind of hoping it does. I'm not a big fan of killing off a character only to turn around and bring em back a month later. Plus I think he's a big enough character that his death will be felt throughout the DCU. (at least I hope it is) "
Me neither, at this point I just roll my eyes any time a character dies, but we all know at some point he will be back, and I want him back sooner.

I don't want them to kill Mr Terrific.

On the other hand, I see Girder and Doctor Polaris, both very fun villains.

I think you answered your own question. Mr. Terrific's death is more powerful simply because he is well liked. If you kill off a character nobody cares about the act loses its impact.

Mr.Terrific is great in JSA Vs Cobra. The actual JSA title doesn't interest me very much right now because I really don't care about that Kid Chimera.Though I have to say that I dig Dr. Polaris.

OK I've not been into JSA for awhile due to numerous reasons even though it had been my must have #1 book for a long time.  Mr. Terrific takes a dirt nap?  Why not Alan Scott instead?  Crapola.  Well, maybe now someone can remove that RIDICULOUS black electrical tape off Mr. Terrific's face.    Good character, lame mask.  Another Black Lantern I assume.

I started picking up JSA with #25. I was hoping that all the Kingdom Come madness might be done with. I can't stand Magog. I'm disappointed that in this first arc with a new creative team, Mr. Terrific is apparently taken down. I really like the JSA, but the book seems to have seen better days...
