Not impressed, I’ll pass this title.

The art to this looks...bad.

Respectfully, you can't reject a book based on lack of diversity for diversity's sake. It is a personal thing for you being black yourself and is something you've had problems with in the past which may cloud your judgement. Having said that, even though the art is gorgeous, I'm not fully convinced of this title's legitimacy.

Hmmm... Not entirely sure why we 'need' this book honestly. And while it has been much improved, and props for putting in the work to get better then previous runs, but never really been a big Porter fan

so I think I will skip this.

The art is very Meh but Green Lantern is very cool

so, in the future, only whites can be superoes? very 31st century... pass.

I hoped this Green Lantern would be a descendant to Jon Stewart or something

So excited for this!

Why does skin colour matter?! Jeeeeeeeeeeez.

the Wonder Twins bring them from the future?! seriously?! snore. and yeah, the art looks really inconsistent and mostly on the ugly side. -- i've never seen WonderWoman or Superman drawn so ugly...

Not impressed, I’ll pass this title.

Wonder Woman needs to be drawn less masculine.

Posted by Nahuel

The cover looks so much better than the interior art! And it's the same artist!! How can that be?

Posted by fil123

so 1000 years from now, batman will still be using a grappling gun and cape to get around....

Posted by TheCheeseStabber

The Supes looks likes One of the Future Supes from All Star Superman

Posted by DEGRAAF

For some reason i thought i read somewhere that the GL and Spectre are connected in this one (like maybe they are the same person)

Posted by consafo80

I can't wait for this but I'll buy anything Keith Giffen's involved with. The art looks okay to me, its not amazing but I've seen worse. Also doesn't the solicit say its a time displaced Justice League so why would Batman suddenly be black just cause he's in the future now? Unless you randomly change skin colour and sex when you time travel in the new 52. Perhaps Boosters protected by his suit. Woops I waffled on for a bit there.

The art doesn't do it for me.

Posted by Captain13

@lvenger: yeah, i can. i can spend my money for social engineering if i would like to. i do not buy books that disagree with my other politics either. and why does any diversity have to be labeled as fir its own sake? when i am in an elevator with randomly assorted, diverse people, i do not say it is forced, so...

Edited by SynCig

The art looks weird. Idk about this. When I heard the initial announcement I thought it sounded pretty cool but this preview has turned me off a bit.

Edited by _ANDY_CAN

the art should be improved and are those the wonder twins

Edited by Deranged Midget

Sooo, it's the same league just stuck in another time period?

@captain13: Obviously you can and you're free to do so, I just see it as being a bit weak if your only complaint for not buying a series is that it has a lack of diversity. The original JLA lacked diversity with only one woman member yet it sold well. Plus that's the roster Morrison used at the start of his run before he broadened it out and it sold well.

Definitely excited

The art's not that bad, Wonder Woman looks a little rough though. I think I'll give the first issue a try and see how it goes. Also, for those that are complaining about skin color, I almost think that Green Lantern looks a little Asian if you look at him hard enough. Idk, it's just what I think.

Posted by Trevel8182

Would of preferred John Stewart Green Lantern.

Posted by Captain13

@lvenger: i am only buying for myself and not predicting sales for a series or what a writer may do in the future

This is why i don't read DC

I wanna see this, count me in

I love the whole Beyond theme (Thank you Bruce Timm)

Excited for the batman, GL and flash. Me no likey the superman one and I'm noncommittal over WW

Posted by ClawFist

You know, the covers, concept work, and interviews for this made me really excited… but this preview might of just had the opposite effect on me. I still like all the designs and stuff, but the art kinda turns me off on the interiors… but I like the covers… and they're the same artist… what?

I think I'm gonna have to wait for the reviews on this now before I make a planned purchase.

1. I'm giving this a chance and picking it instead of judging it BEFORE it comes out. It's something different than what's out now, and idea interests me.

2. The team HAS diversity. Different races doesn't mean diversity, just different skin color. If these are time displaced members of the current JL, then we know they are diverse. One is an Amazon, one is billionaire, one is an alien raised on a farm by adoptive parents, and so on. They come from different walks of life. They may LOOK the same, but they all have different backgrounds and lives.

3. I like the art. It's not bad, but it's not incredible. I think it works well for the time period in the books.

God! WW 3000's face..

Well I was wrong about Green Lantern..

@idontlikebirds: Yeah I don't think the art looks bad, it just looks too busy or something to me. It's just not to my liking, I'm hoping the writing pulls it through, that's why I'm waiting for a review before I spend my hard earned bucks lol.

Posted by millennium

hmmm would of gotten this but its the justice league of now going into the 3000s so no if it was a new jl in the year 3000 that would of been better

Posted by Smurfboy

To be honest, I'm not 100% feeling on their outfits. The arts look okay. However, the story, itself, could be good. I'll have to check it out and see how it goes.

Posted by QuantumVertex

@captain13: I couldn't help but chuckle when i saw this, so true! I actually thought the Green Lantern was going to be Afro-American or something! At least we have Mighty Avengers amazing book with a multi-racial cast!

Posted by QuantumVertex

I can't lie i'm really digging this Bat suit, but thats pretty much it! Wonder woman looks like a manly She Hulk, Supes looks like a Nazi in training! Flash is ok! I can't wait to read the actual panels and see if it's worth reading. Disappointed in the non John Stewart Lantern!

i guess batman is the only one that cares about secret identities 1000 years from now

Everyone is a zombie in the year 3000? Sh#t art.

If you don't look like a diverse team and people of color cannot visually relate to your characters, what is the point of diversity, again?

Clearly having an all white team wasn't hard to conjure up. I doubt conjuring up an Asian or a Latino wouldn't be hard either.
