Somewhat I agree with Hope, but when Scarlet Witch said that "The Phoenix X-men have to be stopped" what the heck is she talking about when she knows that there is only ONE person that has the phoenix. NOT only that MOST of all the X-men are here helping the fight. For Hope to say "I Blame You" I say you know what yes, go ahead Hope BLAME the witch.

This probably is the only time that I liked Hope Atittude! She and any x-men...No my mistake...any person on the entire Marvel Universe can Blame the Scarlett B**** for all the garbage they've been trough! And thank God this event is comingo to an end!!!!

It was something like that (can't remember the exact quote) and... well, back then it was like that. I mean, the X-Men where the losers, the ones that were hated and feared while other teams like Fantastic Four and The Avengers took all the credit. I used to love that.

Why are people still reading this dog $⁢? This one of the most covoluted, drawn out, silly storylines I have ever read. I was waiting for the Blue Lantern Corps to show up (that bad). Maddie Pryor Clones? Really? I have to say impressive. I didn't think a story this big could not have any heart or interesting parts. Guess I was wrong. And before the "experts" that have been reading comics for a whole five years, say I am trolling. I assure you I am not. This storyline is a terrible mess. if you like it, fine.

Scarlet Witch confuses me, I mean, if Doctor Doom went out and took away the powers of thousands of people, caused the deaths of dozens, we'd call him a super villain... yet.. Scarlet Witch does it, serves no jail time at all and is welcome back to the Avengers. Honestly, if I was an X-Man, the mere sight of the Scarlet Witch would drive me to attack them. But I forgot, this is Marvel, people have memories of a gold fish, which might also explain why Iron Man violated people's human rights, and yet is welcome back. It is kinda nice at least one person is holding her accountable for something.

It was already explained what happened during the House of M, Wanda went to Dr. Doom in order to resurrect her children. He helped her to harness the Life Force powers in order to bring them back but it ended up being all too much for her to handle and she went nuts. It's no different than what is happening to Scott or Emma right now, only Scott and Emma refused to do anything about the threat of the Phoenix because they thought Hope was going to restore the mutants.

Agreed, however this doesn't justify it at all. In normal society, one goes insane, they get treatment till they are sane and face trial. Speedball went to jail after the incident where nitro exploded, and that really wasn't his fault technically. Wanda is directly responsible for the death of 2 Avengers, plus the mutants that died when they lost their powers. Now don't get me wrong, I don't expect they will ever do anything about it cause that would involve consequences and Marvel's not real big on that. As for Scott and Emma, you're right. They've made major mistakes. Scott killed Professor Xavier in cold blood, he should also be going to jail. I guess I do not like it when the heroes act like villains and get a free pass cause they have the hero stamp on their forehead.

Well that's true, people who are insane do get locked up or committed often. But this isn't normal society by any stretch, we don't have things like the Life Force or the Phoenix Force which can possess us or act our behalf. Was it responsible of Wanda to plea for Doctor Doom's services in an effort to restore the lives of her children after having learned they died? Not really. But she was a grieving, traumatized mother who conceived the children subconsciously by her ability to affect probability. It wouldn't be unreasonable to think she was capable of achieving the feat once again and it's certainly understandable someone in her position might try. She was deceived by her friends for years about it as well which was A) unethical and B) even more incentive to go elsewhere to seek a solution with an unlikely ally. She made a mistake that had tragic results but she didn't intentionally kill anyone, her powers were out of her control by that point. She was also manipulated by Pietro into even creating the House of M existence as well....

Scott should get locked up though but not because of what he did to the Professor, that was the Phoenix Force's influence. Unlike Wanda, Scott knew the effects of the Phoenix force from his time with Jean, he knew how dangerous it was. What has Jean done whenever she's been possessed by the Phoenix force? She's offed herself or at least tried to in order to keep others from suffering. Scott and Emma were looking to capitalize on the Phoenix force on some unsubstantiated basis it would revive the mutants.

The difference is that Wanda didn't know what she was getting herself into, Scott arguably did.

this falls into the who cares area for me. It was cool at the start but went on way to long and way to little of inte4rest.

I really do not get marvel books anymore. I only buy the trades, but come on... Marvel AR makes no sense. I do not want to read a book only to put up my cell phone or tablet or ipod to get extras... That is why the last few pages of a trade are there!

An event where I want everybody to get beat up....and want Phoneix to ''cleanse'' the world so we can get this event behind us....

If they hold everyone accountable for the bad things they do (and most of them deserve the death penalty) most of marvel U's villains & heros would be killed lol seeing as how they do horrible things to each other every year. sometimes there possessed/not in there right mind other times there simply written out of character

Well, I hope this finally give us some closure... At least in Hope's existence.... Dark Phoenix is a crazy character and I don't really think 1 issue can cover everything around it... Also, wouldn't be nice to see Scarlet Witch using her probability powers to bring Jean Grey back... this way she embrace the phoenix force and gets nuts... Love when powerful women can't control their powers and mess everything haha... Well is just a thought, maybe Wanda embracing Phoenix could be a nice plot, specially now since the phoenix does not seem to be very selective....

I find it funny how Hope ditched the X-men to roll with Wanda as if they were BFF and now she's saying FU to her. Golden.

I'd have to agree. The dissolution of the Black Panther/Storm marriage was one of the most stupid and badly-handled things that happened in the storyline. Both of them came out of that looking rather idiotic.

And if it's of any consolation, the marriage itself was just as stupid and badly-handled a concept, which is why things needed to end the way they did.

@DeviousBastard: thats not hopes fault thats the avengers fault had they not invaded for the 2ND TIME cyclops wouldnt have declared no more avengers. her going over to there side is the act of a scared child but even if she had not gone over to that side the avengers would have kept trying to kidnap her to use her against the P5 (who at that time did nothing wrong).

hope was a factor of course but ultimately ''No more avengers'' is the fault of the avengers & the horrible choices made by captain america

Because i believe this is a free world, am i wrong ? If i don't like something or feel the need to say something negative about it, for any reason, i'll do so.
