Magneto and Psylocke both win in the fights they are in.

Psylocke and Magneto win in those two situations... I still say that the X-Men have the advantage.

I assume Iron Man will be going into the fight with either a non-metallic suit or some convenient and recently developed anti-magnetism tech. Would be a one page issue with Magneto making Tony dance like a puppet otherwise.

Magneto and Psylocke both win in the fights they are in.

Tony choosing the worst opponent for himself, kinda expected. Prolly wont happen though covers are never reliable

Spy vs. Ninja, that'll be very interesting to see, especially since Psylocke has telepathy/telekinesis on her side should she choose to deploy these abilities in her arsenal

@Blizaga101: IDK the whole point of these side books is to have the fights that won't be in the main series

I refuse to accept the existence of the Kid Hellfire Club as canon. It is not my personal canon (and mine is the only opinion that counts on said matter).

The X-Men take both matches unless Shield has some tech to use to their advantage.

Still don't know how The X-Men can handle Thor.

i still do not get it. so if avx proper is the main book, and avx VS is the fight book, does this mean in the proper book they will sit around and play tiddilywinks and drink tea?

I really wanna say Psylocke's going to beat Black Widow but then again she does have a few trick up her sleeve

I love the premise, honestly. The entire idea of the X-men and Avengers throwing down with a cosmic catastrophe on the horizon is really, really badass. But some of the writers and the fact that I'm on a budget sway me. Oh, and the fact that Jean Gray will come back. Again.

If this event has any solid, perfect ending, let it be with Jean being wiped from reality once and for all.

Are those the covers for AVX, AVX VS or just teasers?

@WildStyle: That's if Thor is back by the time this book comes around. It's the same as with Civil War, with Thor basically out of commission I'm viewing this as up in the air

As for Magneto, Iron Lad recently did handwave him away while wearing an armor that is based on Tony's current one, it's just that most people (including most writers) are unaware of that.

It would take a LOT more for me to go down Fade's route lol. I'm relatively opposite of him. I have optimism, as approaching EVERYTHING with skepticism.

It has the potential to be an epic fight, IMO. However, I don't see how Psy could lose against Natasha.

Actually I see ways for Tony to win against Magneto with an armor designed to fight him. That is what he does make specialty armors that lvl the playing field. Not saying he will win but he does have a chance.

I don't see how Thing can defeat Namor. I would like to see an H2H fight between Psylock and Black Widow but unless she has some spy thing to deal with her TP she isn't winning.

X-Men: Wolverine, Storm (depowered at the time), Havok, Dazzler & Rogue. Magneto was kind of caught in the middle of the conflict.

@Ferro Vida: Oh, then you REALLY don't want to read it. It made me a bit nauseous to see Wolverine taking the moral high ground and Aaron's placing him on a pedestal. But @FadeToBlackBolt can rant about this topic much better than I.

I stand corrected. Magneto is the only one that would really turn the tide, at least with Photon there.

Herc vs. Mags was just terrible.

Iron Man vs. Mags has been back and forth for years now. I remember he made an appearance in the Avengers some time in the eighties where he threw around Cap, IM, and Thor. At least I think I remember that.

Herc vs Mags wasn't all that bad to me.

Again, maybe I don't recall it correctly. It's just that there seem to be several where Magneto does some ridiculous without his powers. Like in the 80s when he takes a punch from Colossus and his personal shield may or may not be down.

@Ferro Vida: Pretty much. Overall, Schism was pretty terrible. I liked the outcome and the X-Books have actually been excellent since, but the actual even itself...it was crap. And don't even get me started on Prelude to Schism -___-
