Caselliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii !!

Those square headed things are creepy.

Perhaps a crossover with a general purpose will help considering how colossally boring this book has been so far.

What the HELL are those creepy-looking multi-faced square-headed people, & how do they know where to walk, considering the fact that they have multiple faces?

Strange, it's like Awesome Andy and the Living Tribunal had a love child

I gave up on Age of Ultron... I'll give Infinity a chance.

This is what happens if the Engineers from Prometheus fuse with Minecraft.

Amazing artwork.

Edited by sasquatch888

this is the most boring avengers series in years... too many new characters with zero character development ...just some cool origin stories and no follow up...the new universe thing was anti climatic...the art is great ...but why are sunspot and cannonball on the team again ? lol ...hyperion is on the team and shows up in no other book ...he's a thor level powerhouse and nobody raises an eyebrow ...hmmmmm.... it says on the preview "This June, Hickman, Spencer & Caselli prepare the Avengers for the worst inAvengers #14!" ...a good description THE WORST lol

this will suck as bad as AVX

@beserkerfury: wow. you can see the future? amazing! tell me what i'm about to say next.

Hickman gets a lot of flak for a lack of characterization, but I see what he's doing. He tends to throw the long ball and build things up over a period of time, which is good for some things and not so good for others. Manhattan Projects goes and goes with a slow build up and a lot of questions that I want answered, which is why I buy the books. Avengers at this point needs something big. I think that if Infinity leads to a powerful climax, then Hickman's series will be regarded as a success, but if it is stunted and lame or if it leaves the ends untied, then the whole run will be pretty weak. New Avengers is a stronger book at this point I think, but we'll see. Hyperion could be a game changer for sure, I hope so.

Also, the artwork is fantastic. I'm always impressed with Stefano Caselli.

Infinity's gonna rule!

I hope Cannonball and Sunspot get kicked off the team. it feels like they were pushed into the Avengers for no reason.

Posted by Dabee

Yes!!!!

Posted by windcaster

@deadpool25mm: Hickman said he wanted them on the team because he just really likes those characters. I'm sure they'll earn their keep soon enough.

This has me looking forward to Infinity now!

Posted by nappystr8

On paper this all looks very interesting, but I stuck with Hickman's Avengers way longer than I should have for a book that I more or less hate. I doubt anything at this point is going to bring me back.

Stefano Caselli is on of the finest comic artists I've ever seen. His stuff is just so detailed and exquisite.

Let's hope that this book finally gets somewhat interesting.

Oh another event....

Posted by ScarletBatman

I like events.

I hate all the "completely necessary tie-ins" that you have to buy.

Edited by MadeinBangladesh

Jezuz the art is delecious, but still jot getting this.

Posted by Goochmiester

@tommythehitman: Yeah but let's face it: Age of Ultron is not going to have any effect on the Marvel Universe because that storyline has been going no where...

Posted by spinningbirdcake

Sweet. The first event of the year. At least they went almost half a year without one :)

Sometimes even the event - AoU - is completely unnecessary.

Avengers= great concept and idea, pacing is slow and lack of action is killing this book

The time they are taking to really dig deep into the characters and setting it up is actually my favorite part of the series. There are like 4 other avengers books where they fight in every issue anyway.

I was hoping when this started that Opena was staying on it. Now we're being teased with Yu.
