honestly you think he cant bulk up? ....you really think he hasn't gotten in shape like every other actor in a modern day superhero movie ? Please don't be one of those people who trashes the movie beforehand like people did to Heath Ledger before he played joker . is it so blatantly clear ?

Wow, arguably the best looking on screen Batman I've ever seen or one of them. It doesn't look stiff or cult like Keaton's nor theatre-ish or over the top goofy like Cloony's or technological rubber(like Bale's) this looks like something out of a comic book seriously...kind of creepy, menacing in a way considering how ripped he really is and not "suit muscles" like past suits...that's really Ben's body, awesome.

And that Batmobile man....

I can't wait! I'm sure Ben will do a good job, Snyder too.

BTW, @Shazam117: dude Armageddon wasn't bad and PH was alright. You want a horrible Ben movie? Gigli and DD were BAD movies...

He should have white lenses the majority of the time in the batsuit."Special vision" works for the nolan take. If this is a more comic book accurate version, then he should have white eyes.

It won't take away from the acting and it won't look funny as long as they are not illuminated.

Looks really good! You can def see the Arkham games influence combined with The Dark Knight Returns look there. So far I'm lovin' what I'm seeing from the look of the movie.

Affleck is still the wildcard for me tho. I hope we get the good Affleck from films like "The Town" and "Gone Baby Gone"....and not the bad Affleck from movies like "Pearl Harbor" and "Armageddon"

Looks cool to me. Also the Batmobile looks like the Batmobile so I like that. I didn't have a problem with the tumbler but I always thought of it as the Bat tank.

This makes me oddly optimistic.

Unlike many I've always liked the smaller ears as I think they are more practical.

The texture of the suit makes it look similar to the one we see in the Arkham games, i.e. very flexible and yet very durable and protective.

Car looks fine....only wish the bat symbol was closer to the one that's been used the last 10 years or so. A pretty minor point though.

All in all though, Batman shouldn't be hard to get right. It's amazing it has taken this long and that it was Zack Snyder who did it.

Much more interested to see his versions of Cyborg and Wonder Woman.

After seeing the colored version I can honestly say, this is the best Batman costume yet!

The suit really has the Dark Knight Returns feel in it! Going for a skinsuit instead of full yolo armor plating makes it awesome (We'll probably get the big battle between him and supes, so a mechsuit will probably appear sooner or later). The cowl needs some time to get used to, but I think it takes the comic-y aspects and blend it almost perfectly with a realistic look.

The batmobile looks goddamn awesome PERIOD.

Definitely true, but while that may seem far away for us, odds are they had a rough draft of the road ahead of them. For me, it seems safe to assume they knew they wanted to bring Batman into the second film if the first was able to bring in enough money for them. After all, Marvel recently stated they have a loose idea of things they want to do over the next 20 years and, let's be honest, Batman is a money making machine, ha. And, to be fair, we're talking about answering at friend's question at Comic Con. While that answer may be popular among us internet dwellers, I imagine a good amount of the people who saw the film never heard that clip and the marketing that will reach them will be based solely on trailers and tv interviews. I think it's fair to assume Snyder's opinion remains the same, but he may twist it to make things seem more balanced. Something like Bruce knows he wouldn't be able to win in a punch for punch kind of scenario instead of stating the obvious: Wayne would get wrecked if he tried going toe-to-toe.

Because I feel that this film will be loosely based on TDKR. In that universe, there's an established history between the two and Superman has become the Government's lapdog. The ending of MoS makes it transparent that won't be the case here and, hopefully, he'll be striving to do the right thing -- I see no reason why he wouldn't, honestly. I think after what happened in Metropolis, Batman's cautious of Superman and rightfully so. I'm sure this will lead to some encounters and maybe Batman will get the better of him with a trap (and deliver that line), but seeing as this leads to Justice League, that only furthers to support this can only be loosely based on Miller's limited series. Viral marketing has implied that Lex's company has been studying Kryptonian technology, so it's possible Bruce will now have the knowledge he needs regarding Superman's weaknesses. Maybe he'll test that just to know if he can beat Superman if it's ever needed and use this as a chance to see for himself whether Kal can be trusted.

I'm gobsmacked!! So awesome! I trusted Zack Snyder in bringing us a faithful Batman look and he delivered. I see a lot of Frank Miller and Jim Lee influence there. And the Batmobile...pretty well perfect as well!

I dont know why people are saying that the muscles are fake when you see an image that is bigger you can notice that is real. Henry Cavill also trained and he had the muscles.

Well two years ago is before they'd even released MoS, before they knew were going to have these two face off in the sequel. Considering that Batman (although this is just my opinion, but I think a fair one) is the main draw in this film and is gonna put so many butts in seats, I highly doubt if promoting this film now that they would answer like that. Especially since so much of the hype had been built around the fight they're gonna have, he could hardly laugh it off and just imply Superman stomps it. What kind of terrible marketing would that be.

Maybe that is how they feel about it, and I'd agree with them. But I highly doubt that would have any reflection on a story they didn't even have at that point. He used the quote "I want you to remember the one man who beat you" to introduce us to the fact Batman will be in this film, do you feel that is a less valid indication of how he would like to see this story go? And if so why/ why not?

My current opinion is that Bruce will use his cunning and intellect to take down Clark and capture him, I don't know maybe a Krypton atmospheric prison type of thing. So that we end up with the type of good guy/ villain dialogue scenes we see often, eg. Joker/Batman, Khan/Kirk, Javier Bardem villain/Bond.
