First Look at Batman vs. Superman's Batman!

Back in August, many people were like "Ben Affleck as Batman? Man, he's going to suck donkey-kong balls just like he did with Dare Devil and Gigli. He should never, ever play a superhero role for the next 200 years! That'll teach him a lesson."

Now we see the him in a Bat suit and the latest Batmobile and everyone is loving it now lol. He must have been super ticked off back when he got the outcry from people around him portraying as Batman and is still working hard and what's show that he can play someone as awesome as Batman.

However, I'm still skeptical since the circumstances in this film like the plot and etc, but I want him to prove me wrong and give an excellent, awesome performance to the fullest no matter what.

@black_arrow: Look at a colored version and then the leaked version, I assure you they're not the same cowl. I've been swiping back and forth between the two pics to compare. The leaked one is more 'square' while the official is more round. The leaked one has a little slit near the cheekbone, the official pic does not. Also the leaked pic's ears are 'sectioned off' with a small line. The official pic doesn't have it, the cowl's all one thing. They're not the same. Still hoping for white eyes though.

@havoc1201: The brow on the leaked pic has sharper angles, with the furrow looking like it's been carved into the cowl. The official pic is more round and natural looking.

I think its a great look but I just can't see Affleck doing that good of a job as The Dark Knight, he sucks in 98% of all his movies and Daredevil was terrible in my opinion..... I really hope they don't screw it up, the last three Batman films made up for the last two films from the original 4 movies. To screw up this Batman would really piss me and a lot of fans off, not to mention The Man of Steel movie was the only good Superman film in years to!!!! If Affleck screws it up he will have a lot of mad fans!!!

Considering this thread has 8 pages already, i hope people read this haha.
I have a few doubts about the Superman/Batman movie. Zack Snyder did an okay job with setting the scenery and themes with Man of Steel. I saw the movie a couple times, i liked it, some scenes i love, but overal when you compare it to let's say a Marvel movie, i missed jokes and fun. I think that everybody now believes that either Luthor or Batman will confront Superman regarding his destruction of Metropolis. So that sets up a possible confrontation.
Everybody read that this next movie will be inspired by The Dark Knight Returns. I think that a massive battle between Superman and Batman is a little to early. Esspecially considering that the fact that there are going to be a lot of cameos by either Wonder Woman or Cyborg or whoever.

In this video he sets up what he think Superman/Batman should be about.. I agree with him for almost the most part of the flick.

The Nolan movies were awesome, i loved every single one of them, even Rises. With that being said, it was a trilogy about "What if Batman was real?". I agree with Grant Morrison when he says "Superheroes aren't real" and so Man of Steel set this up perfectly. Here comes this unreal alien coming to a real world and how does this world react.. So now we can have a slightly unrealistic Batman like in the comics!!

@takeluutzen: Well thats what your normally getting from a Snyder film and I want to say most likely a DC film his films are always Dark and gritty thats what sets the Marvel Cinematic Universe and DC Cinematic Universe apart

Man if the suit has the white eyes It will just be like an early Christmas for me. Not only would it make for an awesome and more intimidating Batman, it would be very similar to the Batman from the comics and would be a great way to distinguish the suit from the rest of the live-action suits.

Good enough. I was expecting something crazy like the Arkham suits but I'm just a greedy fella XD

I can definitely respect this suit and this Batman. I think Snyder is doing a terrific job creating a TDKR Batman, Ben Affleck's size,stature, age is a great representation of the brutish Batman from Frank Miller's series and the suit is spot on with the large logo, color scheme, short ears (don't really care for em, longer ears are more recognizable with Batman to audiences), etc. Frank Millers version of Bats is awesome and so is this new suit! With all that being said I just don't believe this Batman is right for where the films are going! They've said to expect a justice league movie, Batman is without a doubt a season vet by the time Justice League is formed, but not of TDKR age. Also I'd say in majority of story lines and portrayals in comics and animated series Batman is more agile and about quick wits (not to say he isn't about wits in TDKR) and uses a rather slick martial arts form of fighting rather than brute strength. Don't feel like this Batman fits with this movie or the justice league movie, feel like they could've gone a better route, I do hope and want this movie to turn out legit. Buutttt just my long rant and my opinion.

Thats funny I was thinking the same thing! I think white eyes would be sick and they've yet to be done with Batman in any of the movies!

Seriously tho how they hell did affleck get so freaking jacked in less than half a year?? Damn that dude looks intimidating as hell in the batsuit

I would have prefered the ears where a bit longer and the symbol a little thiner, but, man, it looks awesome. Nice to have the actual batmobile again and not just the "bat-tank."

I think it looks awesome! I think the bat symbol looks a bit too big but that's just a minor gripe. The suit looks great and the batmobile looks amazing as well.

Looks good just, still not sold on Affleck for this role. Crossing my fingers, toes, and eyes for it to be a success.

If that is Ben Affleck then he really bulked up.

This is what the Batman costume should look like. And it appears Affleck has the scowl to fit the cowl, as I always suspected he would. This film is going to rock my socks off!
