Is this series any good? I was going to trade wait because I did the same with Astonishing but I can't tell if this is worth it or not...

Why would Mystique want to kill Nightcrawler when she dove into the bowels of hell for him in order to retrieve her biggest enemy Wolverine? She loves Nightcrawler. She used to be an anti-hero but more and more Marvel is turning Mystique into a 2-dimensional Cruella Deville or something. It's so aggravating.

@hexthis: All I am saying, she better have a different plan or a reason for acting like this. Otherwise I can't take the flip-floping her character so much. Hell at this point Deadpool looks more stable than her and that is not a nice thing to say about her.

cyclops is still my favorite x character and im sick of them trying to make him the bad guy when is he going to start putting these fools in their place. like get over it he killed someone under mind control after they raided his city. cyclops = victim and how can people even stomach wolverine he is soooooooooo vanilla and has literally done and said the same things for 50 years in over 1000 different series that he has fail to carry.

@pspin: If you like Nightcrawler enough it is. I'm only on board to see him return, but the team dynamic has been consistently god and hey it's Nightcrawler. I've been told its like Wolverine and the X-Men if that helps.

I hope Kurt is smart enough to not blame Scott for being unable to resist going insane while having more power then anyone could control for very long.

Thank You! Someone else that likes the REAL X-men instead of the "Jean Grey school for sucking up to the Avengers". At least their is one team of X-men that is true to their roots and here's a hint, it isn't led by a knuckledragger. I started reading the X-men in the mid 80's when they were still outlaws and the general public thought they were dead. So all this playing nice with government just makes them seem like sellouts. I love the Uncanny, X-force (if not for Fantomax...ugh) and Magneto.

Seems like none of the writers talk to each other or read the other storylines because only in a short while Mystique has re-assembled the Brotherhood, she's joined the Hellfire Club as a member of the faculty, she's tried to purchase Madripoor, she's swallowed an Apocalypse fragment...do they remember at all that Mystique was just a Magneto-like figure with a different ideology and not some fickle melodramatic mastermind?

Wait, I'm a little confused. I thought Cyclops and Wolverine are on good terms now after WaTX #38 (or some issue close to that number)? It's the one where they beat all the Sentinels and had a drunken heart-to-heart talk. In the previews above, it looks like Logan is preparing to kick him out.

imagine if Mystique lost her memory while she was in another form & hooked up with Nightcrawler. Or can he always tell that it is her in a way similar to how Cyclops & Havok powers dont effect the other?

Ok here's my view of Cyclops!

He's been on the wrong since Schism! I do agree that he shouldn't be constantly blamed for killing the Prof., he wasn't in total control of his mind anymore at that point. Still he has to pay for it 'cos just being 'under the influence' doesn't save you, people still suffered, lives were still lost and he pretty much gambled with the lives of 7 billion people and that is just the most selfish things anyone could ever do. And worst of all, he continues to play the victim in all this and calling Cap a hypocrite when he himself is a hypocrite. He forgives himself (also Jean for killing billions of people) because he (and she) wasn't in control but still hold a grudge against Scarlet Witch for the decimation when she was in fact 'not in control' as well.

As soon as Kurt comes back to life he sees his horrible parents. Hard luck!
