what the fuck is wrong with taskmaster's costume??? it looks god awful, and that artwork holy crap it looks bad for a big marvel event.

@Brazen_Intellect: Its a shame cause the Age of U costume doesnt look bad at all cept for the mask. No cape with a body armor black ops style theme, kinda badass.

Yeah but not the urban Udon look either though. He still needs to rock the hood and cloak, or some variation of it. But the skull mask and underwear outside the tights look can go.

Speaking of Moon Knight, Tasky could do with following his fashion sense, head to toe body armor with a very clean and minimalist design. At first look it is hard to take the character seriously dressed like that. The UDON look was a much needed update, but I agree to leave some of his original look.

I would re-arm him with the variation of the tech that Cap and USAgent used to make an energy version of their shields. It would let him use any of the signature weapons he has mastered on the fly and not clutter him with countless items strapped all over him.

With the right look and writers take I think he could be Marvel's Deathstroke in terms of popularity and lethal rep

Marvels definitely getting their stuff right this time around.

Why is everyone jumping to conclusions and saying Black Panther dies? Do you really think they'd kill off such a big character and then include it in a preview? For all we know, Taskmaster felt a pulse and left him there because he knows he's okay, or, he just can't feel one through T'Challa's armor. Either way, I sincerely doubt we just witnessed the death of a classic character in a preview.

Meh, out of all the Marvel events in recent years, this one is probably the least interesting for me. I'll get it but I don't really care.

Sigh, Bryan Hitch's art has really dropped since his earlier days. It's not that it's bad, but his AoU art suffers from the same problem his Captain America Reborn work had - rushed and messy inks. Then there's the lack of black lines around the panels - which is really distracting. There were no black lines in Cap Reborn, only white gutters like this, and it was really uncomfortable to read.

Also, Taskmaster's costume looks like a weird blend of Hitch's Moon Knight and the Ultimate Quicksilver costume :O

Still, despite the somewhat-disappointing art, I'm definitely looking forward to this crossover. Alternate universe or not, if it's anything like the quality of Bendis' recent writing (All New X-Men!)...my interest is piqued.

Where is Ultron? I want to see THE Ultron, not his little babies.

Red Hulks face looks strange because he looks like a nice guy haha.

Ouch... way to go with the Black Panther head bonk. Taskmaster isn't really portrayed well as far as looks, of course this is my opinion. Looks more like a chimp skull than an actual skull in the panel. Amazing art work non the less.

 I get the feeling Red Hulk is going to die, which would be pointless.

Very nice...Panther and Tasky and Rulky working together. Color me fascinated.

LOVE the art! It's the old seriousness from the ultimate universe that makes this look so dark and interesting.

He is desperately in need of a new costume, the 80's undead pirate costume is way past overdue for replacement.

Does it even matter if it's mainstream or alternate? Everything goes back to the way it is anyway. Try to apreciate the fuckin sense here. My only problem is that this crossover is too soon. I mean cant they wait for a year to come before making another big event?

The teaser for this specifically stated that it's NOT an alternate reality, but with the total destruction of pretty much everything, how can it not be?

Also, is it just me, or is releasing a preview to #3 when #1 isn't even out, kind of pointless.

Yeah thats one of the only times I can recall him sporting a decent mask portrayal. Udon's mask is cool too.

Why are Red Hulk's eyes not yellow? When did She-Hulk get a haircut? How can Ultron's lasers pierce T'challa's vibranium armor? Why are the Ultron's organic? Why is Taskmaster SO AWESOME?!

I don't understand why people are confused on whether this will be a different universe or will end with it being a different universe. I mean: Age of Apocalypse, Age of Ultron. Seems to me that it's pretty obvious.
