i like that Shazam is getting some recognition, I just don’t like, that in this case, it’s at the expense of a hero that also needs to get more respect outside of comics

For me DC has never failed me in making a great animated film. Flash point really made me appreciate Barry Alen more as the flash even more the Wally west. Steve Blum as darkside is just the cherry on top. The good thing is this Movie is just around the corner so not much of a wait time.

Okay, if you replace Aquaman, why not use a woman like Vixen or Zatanna? Do we really need another white male, with dark hair, who tells jokes? Really? Could you get any more redundant. Let's see, he has Superman's and Wonder Woman's powers. He has Flash's color scheme. And he's as big of a **** as Green Lantern. Great.

I would have gotten rid of Aquaman too to tighten up the store because all he had was a cameo, but the gender and racial politics here are ridiculous. If you have 7 heroes, two or more of them should be women.

And unless Darkseid and Cyborg are now related, I will be pissed at them doing a villainous black man. Doesn't police targetting and Fox News do that already?

I've mostly the main story of Flashpoint before the movie.

Justice League War??? I've read and own this story. Its a pass. I like it as a read, but as an animated film not much is going to happen in the fight with the big guy. The only seller is Shazam!? He wasn't in the battle or the story so seeing how its redone for him, thats the only keeper here.

They should have done the story that introduces the new villain of 52_Graves

Or Animate Batman Arkham Asylum_Based off the Video Game...hell they could do the Original book and I still be happy.

But I don't think this one is gonna top Flashpoint.

Why must they get new voice actors? Most times they have no idea how to do a vice correctly. Daly and Cornett have grown on everyone since the 90s and still love doing the part, so why not them?

This storyline wasn't that great and I really dislike Geoff Johns but I will definitely be watching this anyway

... the freaking introduction of Aquaman in this story is one of the most badass intros ever, and it would have done a great job starting the "aquaman's not a bitch like you people seem to think" campaign.

Anyone else offended Darkseid looks African-American? The League designs are cool. and Sean Astin as Shazam sounds like a fit. But still! why make him resemble an African-American, I'm black and that's bothering me a bit.

DC animated is so good. I haven't watched the latest ones (dark knight and flash point) but everything else has been gold.

Is Wonder Woman going swimming, or going to do yoga, or something?

I'd love to see "Villain's Journey" done after this, if they wanna go all chronologically of course! Definitely excited for this.

I like the ice cream WW :) Anyways, nice look for her and for some reason she could be a Simon Belmont and know she doesn't look like him, but the armor is almost the same. (Super Castlevania VI), yes he's in gold and WW is red, white, and blue. (Lasso of Truth, Vampire Killer Whip) I like it when WW is in the America colors than a global citizen punk diet uniform. One, thing who buys the comic the most, I don't know maybe freaking AMericans!?

As someone's already said. No Kevin Conroy? No Tim Daly? What are they thinking? Expect very little from this character's voices,though that's my opinion.

Well they aren't doing this story because they want to do a cool Darkseid story. They are doing this because the animated movies are going to start reflecting the DCNU and this was the inaugural story.

Darkseid? he looks like the love child of Thanos and Apocalypse.

I'm really disappointed,this is Darkseid's second outing and in both cases they chose 2 of the worst Darkseid stories ever written,now all we need is Countdown to make it a hat rick.

I know we'll never get an adaptation of Orion or Kirby's original work but how about Final Crisis or Great Darkness Saga?

I like the New 52 so, Yeah, I'll try it out. If it's as awesome as it should be I'll definitely buy a copy. I'm curious to see what role Shazam will play in the storyline since he wasn't in the original.

Hopefully, Throne of Atlantis will be next. It would be an ideal way to introduce Aquaman.

The Flashpoint movie was incredible so I can only hope that this meets that same level of quality. I don't mind making some changes since its par for the course in comic book adaptations. Not sure if Steve Blum is a great choice for Darkseid. I'm sure he can pull it off but he's become a but too prevalent in games and cartoons as of late. I'm especially excited to see them give utility and purpose to each member of the team during the action. A lot of the big fights in the book were just gorgeously drawn splash pages that were essentially super powered dog piles instead of fully fleshed out fights. Looking forward to it.

I happily stand corrected, lol. (Although not totally since it's Batman which hasn't changed much, lol).

They've already said that they're not gonna stop making Pre-N52 stories, in fact, a movie based on Batman & Son is coming next year.

Because DC is trying to distance itself from the old continuity (/promote the new one). They want people to buy the comics & it'd be confusing to the layman if they released an old story on DVD now. They could maybe get away with Batman or GL ones since those worlds didn't change as much - though Sinestro Corps War would be hard because it involved Earth. You could maybe do War of the GL because that was self-contained, but don't expect any of the events you mentioned...well...ever.

when they finally made aquaman cool they cut him out of the new 52 movie LOLOL. Still he was awesome in the flashpoint movie so i expect big things from this one.

Why haven't DC made an animated movie about any of the crisis though or even sinestro corp war come on how can the new 52 get a movie b4 those.

So stupid that they left Aquaman out. It doesn't matter if he's the focus of the next movie. They would leave Superman out.

Yeah, gotta say that I'm really digging the anime/American mix when it comes to the art. As one of the few comic book readers/fans that also loves anime/manga (I seriously don't get what the hate on both sides is about; is it a competition, or something?), I can say that adding that anime flare will do wonders for the animation quality; if you've watched anime like Ghost in the Shell (shows and movies), Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop (show and movie), Trinity Blood, Fullmetal Alchemist (the original and the Brotherhood remake), Attack on Titan, Hunter x Hunter (2011), the Redline movie, The Rebuild Evangelion movies series, the recent Berserk movies, etc. then you know that anime is on top when it comes to animation quality, for the most part. An example of another American cartoon that looks amazing, with the mix of styles, is Legend of Korra; even if you don't like the story, you have to admit that it looks awesome.

Shazam's design is great; he looks older, sure, but like in his early 20s and not like 40yr old man. I think that the effects on his lightning chest piece will be sparking, and what not, when he's engaged in battle; other than that, the lightning will be docile.

Batman and WW look good as well.
