The effect for Shazams Lightning bolt dosent look right, it doesn't need to just glow it needs to look like its giving off power. Also where did they get that WW design from? It's not bad it just feel like a real departure from the comic and past DC DVD versions of the character.

But.. but... but... in Flashpoint we saw BADASS Emperor Aquaman VS Wonder Bit** AND THAT WAS AWESOME (more than once) so, why would the cut him out of this film? Also, Why Shazam? Also, men... I hope this is half a good an adaptation as Flashpoint :| that being said, animation looks a lot different since Bruce Timm and the other guy I don't remember left DC

Wonder Woman's costume here is basically the New 52 silver-lined version with some sleeves and an under shirt to get rid of the cleavage.

i'm not worried about this I know it will be a very good movie the only part i don't like is the fact Aquaman is not inside because the fight against Darkseid with Arthur on it was great but I trust DC they have been always good with their animations so let's them do their Mojo.

I still don't give a crap about Aquaman not being in this movie, and he's one of my favorite comic book characters.

Seriously, why get so upset when he was nothing more than a glorified cameo in the original story?, honestly, the farthest the stay away from trying to be loyal to that piece of crap storyline, the better.

@supreme_maj: I trust them too, but I think if they went for original storylines (which they claimed they were going to do), there'd be less worry (which is only based on the fact that they're changing anythinglol (and I'm just being honest there, even though I fall into that reactionary bunch)).

I like Billy but come on, DC animation, Aquaman was and is still awesome in the new 52. You just dissed my favorite superhero

I'm interested in this movie. I have yet to watch Flashpoint Paradox but I've heard good things. I've really enjoyed all the other DC animated movies, especially the Batman ones, with Red Hood being my favorite animated movie of all time.

@fanboiii: That doesn't alter the "logic" of this decision (and what was said was that he will be the focus. It could be a JL movie that technically focuses on him (by design), but it is not "his" movie (as many of the others have had))

I would have expected them for branding purposes to just use the New 52 costumes. What they came up with looks really cool though. Especially Darkseid.

Looks pretty good. I dug the anime style in Flashpoint and it gives the two movies a nice sense of continuity (however I hope they only use it on the Justice League movies), and Wonder Woman's costume looks great actually! The original story wasn't anything special but I did like the Flashpoint movie better than the Flashpoint comic so hopefully this is even better than the original.

I love Wonder Woman's new outfit, I am for showing skin and all that but once in a while you need to change things up a bit. I find it quite refreshing.

Also I've always wondered why are most female heroes practically naked? I understand most readers are male (I am too), but sometimes I feel like the respect factor for women isn't there, almost like they are there just to look pretty

Darkseid looks alright. Character designs for the men are waaaaaay better than that crap Flashpoint Paradox. Also, why not replace Aquaman with a female?

Anyone else think Shazam looks like Dean Winchester? The arts not as odd as it was in FPP, but no Kevin Conroy? bluh. Although Steve Blum is a nice touch.

It's not that. Johns wants to push certain friendships, including Batman/Green Lantern, Superman/Wonder Woman and Cyborg/Shazam.

Jay Oliva has been good so far. I hated the Flashpoint comic series, but loved the film. I read the comics again, and still think they suck.
