Favorite TV Shows: Arrow vs. Young Justice

Both DC shows have aired 2 seasons, but do you like one more than the other one? We want to hear from you, so get in here and vote!

*Want to vote but you don't have an account? Well, what are you waiting for?! Signing up is beyond simple. CLICK HERE to register and then you'll be able to vote in all of our polls and join the countless discussions. Go on, make an account!*

"Comic Vine, you're asking me to compare a live-action show and an animated show. What is this madness?!" Sure, these two options have big differences, but at the end of the day, both aim to immerse you in the DC universe and give you an emotional connection to its characters. They may be different viewing experiences, but we want to know which one you prefer!

Have you fallen in love with the live-action take on Green Arrow's adventures or do you think Young Justice's animated tales are full of awesomeness? Both have aired 2 seasons (sadly, only Arrow will be returning for more) and both have featured Deathstroke, our latest Character of the Month, but we're wondering if you have a preference between these two comic book shows. Maybe you love them equally? Or perhaps you're not a fan of either? No matter what your opinion may be, we want to hear from you. So, head to the poll and voice your opinion!

There's no need to rush to a conclusion just yet, Viners. The poll is staying open until Friday morning (ET), so that should give you more than enough time to reflect on these two shows. What is it about one of these programs that potentially makes it more engrossing than the other? Is it the way certain characters are developed? Maybe a specific plot really won you over? Or perhaps you adore the action in one of these shows? Think it through and don't forget to vote!

If you want to go the extra mile, leap into the comments and share your thoughts on the match. If the post is excellent enough, there's a chance we'll highlight it in Friday's article. However, if the post is over a few paragraphs, odds are we won't highlight it. Please, try and keep it fairly concise if you want it to be considered for the updated article!

Check the homepage this Friday to see which TV show wins and why. In the meantime, feel free to make future match-up suggestions in the comments below or tell us via Twitter.

Young Justice. By far. And it's not even close. At all. For me,at least

You can't ask me to choose!

Young Justice without a doubt!

The best DC show I've seen since JL Unlimited.

It'll be great if someone at DC would make a Young Justice season 3 comic book, just like they did with Smallville.

I need to know what happens after season 2's insane cliffhanger!

I pity voted Arrow, YJ is gonna stomp

Young justice easily

Im going with Arrow because although its live action it just felt like a true DC animation series like Justice League or Batman. Young justice is badass too but I like Arrow and can't wait to see Flash TVs series.

I vote YJ due to Diggle Jobbing his way through season 2 and that Ravager cameo.

Young Justice as a spiritual sibling to Justice League/Unlimitied and a quintessential Greg Weisman piece it showed just how well he and his crew understood how to tell serial/episodic stories with well drawn characters. Expanding its universe in the second season in ways most shows teen oreinted, live action, animated or otherwise just don't go for.

With Miss Martian perhaps becoming one of the most terryfing characters on the series, Episode 21 "Image" becomes so much more impactful with the context of season 2 and that's after it already brings up questions of identity and authenticity. Also shout outs to "Failsafe" an episode that tells you from the beginning what it is and still manages to make you invest in it.

Arrow expanded mightly in season 2 and came together by the end of season 1 and will likely surpass this show but for now it's Young Justice.

Ive heard CW is in the works of making a young justice live action in 2015 that'll be interesting but I see how it could be done with the Justice League movie coming up and Roy from Arrow being bad ass

Apparently the next poll:

What's a better film, Superman III or Batman: Mask of the Phantasm?

You see, because there's no comparison. And because Arrow sucks.

Young Justice should win this.

Posted by Lurkero

Arrow has Diggle and Felicity so I'm pretty sure that wins for me.

i just got into watching arrow literally last night im episode 3, it hasnt wowed me yet, ill give it a couple more episodes. young justice i didnt get into until after the season was over, i had watched it on my boys computer (out of order, but whatever). it is defiently a high quality show and it brought "sidekicks" into their own, my favorite was aqualad

Young Justice Easily

Young Justice definitely. I love the fact that there are so many characters that are featured especially in the second season even if it was just a cameo. I would say the fight scenes were great almost rivaling the ones from Justice League Unlimited.

In the words of Zoidberg : "Mom, Dad, don't ask me to choose!"

Young Justice BY FAR!

Yup, I'm sure 26% would vote for Supes 3 and 21% would vote for "love both."

DONT MAKE ME CHOOSE!

I love Arrow, don't get me wrong. But the cheesiness which works so well in cartoons to the point of being nearly nonexistent is a stumbling block to Arrow. Add in the CW "crapdrama" with unrealistic relationships....yeah. Young Justice stomps.

Young Justice.

Arrow.

Posted by ScarletBatman

Arrow is a good show but it pales in comparison to the awesomeness of YJ.

Everything is better than Arrow.

Posted by Casval

Young Justice of course, but the main issue with that show is there is no end since it wasn't renewed for a 3rd season by CN.

Edited by The_Thaumaturge

young justice season 1 > arrow season 2

arrow season 1 > young justice season 2

young justice season 2 > arrow season 2

Still sad about YJ being cancelled.

Young Justice had ocean's more potential then it actually used....and in fact it may have even hurt itself with its drawn out storyline which ostracized the primary viewership of it's network and its lack of structure toward the end of the first season onward. Young Justice could've been perfect if they had cut season one in half and hadn't made the light such a background entity...but in truth it was very much a comicbook style show.

Arrow had no potential following it's first 5 episodes, but it's season two finale took the show too places we just didn't think it was possible to go when it first began. No one would've believed in season one that it would spin off into the flash and involve the introduction of superpowers....hell people started off saying it wasn't comicbook enough.

Young Justice wins because episode for episode it beats Arrow which took a while to warm up...but both shows had similar holes in their presentation.
