Expect More Hulk in 'Avengers: Age of Ultron'

@extremis: Here's a tip, a villain is destroying Metropolis, Superman shows up and say "This ends now" and then he speed blitzes towards him...only to stop and say "Too many people around, let's move the fight elsewhere". Uh, first of all, why the F would the villain listen? Second, you put everyone at the edge of their seat with a cool line and now you want to stop half way? Horrid pacing.

After Superman killed Zod in that story, he went into a self-imposed exile, because he thought he didn't deserve to be earth's protector and didn't plan to return. Don't take pictures out of context.

I can dig it. Hulk was one of the best parts of The Avengers, and he's the biggest character not to have his own movie this phase, so it's only fair.

@squalleon: He stopped Zod and had him contained in a place where he had no powers. Zod tells him even if he stops him now, he'll find a way to escape his dimension and kill everyone in Superman's dimension. Superman says he has no choice, he has to kill Zod and the others.

MoS: Zod tells him that if he doesn't kill him, he'll kill everyone on the planet. The Difference? This was written by Byrne so he gets a pass, Zack doesn't (he sucks so he doesn't deserve it anyway). Did I miss something?

@cosmicoldguy: What? Superman destroys things when he fights, that's what makes his fights interesting. He's not a martial artist, he's a brawler/boxer. He punches things into things. He didn't even cause 90% of the destruction, Zod and the World Engine did 80% of the damage. Military did the other 10% and Superman did a few.

@superguy1591: yeah it's pretty dumb when you think about it. The Hulk pretty much causes all kinds of trouble, but that's okay. Superman does it on the first day against a major threat and it's a big deal.

I don't really like hulk in general. He's a plain dull and boring character. But he stole the show in the avengers, so I'm all good.

So does this mean Hulk will have another movie soon? I mean Whedon knows the Hulk parts were some of the most exciting part of Avengers so why not go even further?

i hope for to be a bit smart like he was in the comics. y'know the merge of hulk/Banner like he was in the incredible hulk.

Meh, was hoping for more Hawkeye & Black Widow focus since neither has had nor seem likely to have a solo film.

Thank you! This is something that's been bothering me the whole time about Hawkeye. I want Clint cracking jokes and where the heck are his names for everyone? It's cool that Hulk will get some love but poor Hawkeye has had no time developing as a member of the team other than being yanked into the big fight at the end. They need to show some of his growth as a member.

@superguy1591 - I have that issue that you scanned, but from my perspective I believe it is not so much about killing Zod rather it is about the amount of destruction he laid down across the planet without concern about the people/earth. Superman's powers are not based on mindless rage as are the Hulk's. Superman protects the earth and is one of the few beings that can be everywhere when needed. I believe that fan's expected Superman to at least consider the impact that his powers bring rather than just "Clark-Smash" actions.

Was hoping we'd get more Hawkeye in this movie, considering he barely did anything in the first movie but follow Loki around. Hopefully he'll be the wise-cracking, smart mouthed, lovable asshole that he is in the comics this time

In general, me neither. But in this specific scenario, I loooooove Ruffalo's Hulk.

"Hulk will have a more significant role" really? i'm pretty sure the hulk did everything in avengers 1! he threw loki around , awoke ironman by yelling and beat that big flying alien!

I think that what everyone is trying to say is that Hulk is supposed to be an a$$hole to bystanders and buildings, Superman isn't.

Your complete lack of understanding for what Hulk is and why people were pissed about Man of Steel is baffling.

I thought the rumour was that Avengers 2 was going to set up the next Hulk movie, which will likely tie more into GotG in a Planet Hulk kind of idea.
