Very Nice

I thought the Emperor Penguin story was pretty darn good. I look forward to seeing Emperor Blackgate in future adventures of the Bat-family.

Okay, so apparently detective comics are good, but is "batman dark knight" any good?

@2cool4fun: Detective Comics is pretty good right now. The Emperor Penguin arc and the Wraith arc were enjoyable. Jason Fabok's art alone might make it worth the read.

And I mean no disrespect to the writer, but no one should be reading Dark Knight. It's bad.

Think I bought all those first few issues with Layman and Fabok.

Who in the world's the chick with the pistols? I don't remember her from the Emperor Penguin storyline.

I think it would be cool if the girl with the pistols is Helena Bertinelli.......but its most likely not.

Not so fast. The recent Clayface-centered issues were pretty good. #24 actually got a 4-star review on CBR.

I've found the handful of issues I've read since Hurwitz took over to be more mediocre than bad. It's disappointing that it isn't better because the Penguin mini-series that he wrote was so good.
