I do not think I did anything necessarily wrong. I just think Static was taking preemptive measures to prevent it from spiraling out of control. Though I cannot speak for Static, that is how I took it.

It's at the bottom of my DCnU list too. It's a decent book but not up to par like some of my other favorites.

Honestly, this was one of the titles I was really looking forward to (seeing as I'm a Todd fan) and I feel kind of let down. It's not necessarily a bad book, but it's far from being one of the handful I'm looking forward to on a monthly basis now.

Lobdell is proving himself again and again with the New 52. I had looked past this title, only to pick it up by chance a month later. Now, it's one of my favorites and can't wait for this month's to come out.

I love the art, and I love that this is a tight team, I think my biggest problem with a lot of X books is that there are so many characters that it never gives anyone a real focus.

I never said I cannot see Starfires face, I said IMO there are no close ups of her face that emphasize any childlike features.
