The problem with Gen 13 is was that it was ultra hip. Sure, it did great for a while. But when you have a character named 'Grunge' there's already a time limit on your trendy vibe. I supposed they could still do a version, though.

Am so picking this up. Warblade is funny as hell. Deeply disappointed that that the series is being cancelled in May. The very least I can do is continue collecting this series through its finish. Long Live The Ravagers!

@crazed_h3ro: I am not saying he doesn't have appeal to people. But I just annoys me that every single line he apparently speaks can be translated to; "I am a colossal twat when I am not over the moon psychotic."

@Outside_85: I don't know, I am really liking this portrayal of Warblade, yes he is nothing like the original, and one may say DC screwed him up (I was one of those people) but I have grown to like the new Reno Bryce.

Yeh, i stopped picking this up after issue #7. Characters wernt enjoyable, Beast boy is neither green nor is he the prankster come true heroic character depicted prior to the reboot and we all know that Terra is going to betray everyone and turn evil, because that seems to be all of what most characters named terra do... with acception to the one from the mini-series and powergirl. This title is just not fun and doesn't seem to know how to write any of the characters. Are they meant to be depicted as teen? or are they older than that? N.O.W.H.E.R.E. just doesn't work as a villain organization for, well, for several reasons mostly because a bunch of kids go missing and neither the Justice League or Stomwatch picks up on a subterranean arctic training complex? (Hell they frigging set up shop right next to Sup's fortress of solituded) And then Harvest is just starting to give off a Judas Traveller vibe where it seems like no one really knows what to do with him and that at some point he and his organization are just going to disapear into comic limbo, esspecialy after the ravagers is concluded its run (you know they tried shoving him into the plot of legion lost, which as a legion fan made no frigging sense cosidering that out of all 3 titles set up for "the culling" theirs was the only one not being made, from the get go, as a tie in, and then Titans seems to have just dropped any idea of the event and moved on, or at least tried to move on with it's plot. Superboy seems to be the only title that might still have connections to NOWHERE but once the organization fades off into nothingness they might just ret-con something and say that he was originally cloned and Cadamus and then stolen by NOWHERE).

Maybe dc should give up on teen titles and just have mostly adult super heroes. Maybe Changeling, Terra and fairchild will be more interesting as adults. The only ones harder to convert to adults are the sidekicks and the Legion which has the old boy and girl code names.

So Beast Boy is not green anymore in this series!?

Never did jump into this after The Culling, but I was mildly interested int he book always...until I've found out that this ongoing is getting the axe. Guess I'm not really surprised.

I prefer the green Beast Boy or Changeling. Warblade looks like looney tunes Taz but I like Taz but not Warblade. I hope they reboot Gen 13 bec Gen 13 was a lot more interesting than Ravagers. Hopefully, they just kill off the unpopular Ravagers characters and forget Harvest.

I've been reading Ravagers since issue #1. It had its ups and downs, but it wasn't all that bad. Kinda sucks that the new staff has to clean up the old staff's mess and find a way to end the series gracefully. At least I'll have a new comic too fill that ones slot when its gone.

Where did the redhead's goggles/glasses go after the second preview page?

I dropped this title last issue, I'm just not interested anymore. Warblade is annoying as heck, Rose isn't being developed, and the Ravagers are just constantly whining about being killers and what not. Wake me when the story takes a turn for the better. Maybe some more Superboy involvement.

They need to hurry up and have Rose stop being a villain so she can join the Outlaws.

Well when did you drop it? Because starting with #8, the series got a creative change with Michael Alan Nelson coming on as writer. And, it actually got much, much, MUCH better.

Its because his powers have sort of been retconned to be related to the core elemental forces of life: The Green (plants), The Red (animals), and The Rot (decay). So, since Beast Boy's an animal shapeshifter, they made him red.

WHy is Beast Boy Red in the New 52?

Could be good. Picked up the first two issues and wasn't so impressed. However, I've been having a hankering for some Fairchild so I just might jump back on.
