Gotta say, I'm really enjoying this so far

Had to drop this. I'm reading Batman Eternal and I can't afford TWO weekly titles. I'll grab the trades though.

I've just been barely squeaking by with it. I might get the first volume in individual issues and then buy the trade(s) from there on out.

I know what you mean, I had to sacrifice a bit of eating out for this title. Don't know what my plan is for Earth 2: Worlds' End. Definitely want to get that one as well.

Story has been pretty awesome so far.

Probably needs it for proof of his story. If you want to claim that you're from a future overrun by killer cyborgs, having the body of one of those cyborgs with you might persuade some people.

Yeah, with around 20 or so other titles on my pull, this would put me in the poor(er) house.

@the_stegman: I understand. I've limited my pull list very extensively. I'm missing out on a lot of books I'd like to read.

When I first heard about this book, I thought I would hate it, but it is probably the comic I look forward to most each week. It's really well written and balanced. The only thing I don't like is how they are turning Firestorm into a jerk.

I thought this was going to be the weakest of the DC weekly comics, but man I was wrong! Can't wait for it week after week.

I love The way Grifters portrayed in this series

And Mr. Terrific. The guy was genuine nice and this new version bothers me a bit.

@squalleon: I actually like this new Mr. Terrific. Before this I never found him very interesting, but this new version is so well written and interesting. So many heroes own companies, but we never see them really use that to help fight crime. He's like a hero version of Lex Luthor. I also like the new version of his "Fair Play" tattoo.

I don't know, I don't feel that new celebrity vibe he gives. But its on his own, I guess.

@squalleon: Well I think it's pretty unique, honestly in the short time this event has been out he has been my favorite part.

This and Batman Eternal haven't disappointed.

Man it has been one great book. This and Batman Eternal keeps me coming back for more.

@scarletknight2814: Lex is still a villain at heart. Also, Lex can't be a version of himself.

Edited by Samuel_Simmons

@captainmarvel4ever So is Alexander Luther not a version of Lex Luthor since he is him technically?

Posted by CaptainMarvel4Ever

@samuel_simmons: Technically yes, but not within the context I was speaking of.

Posted by Samuel_Simmons

@captainmarvel4ever alright. On a separate note This and eternal have both been great. Although I've been enjoying this one the most

I'm with you on that. Though I did the opposite by dropping Batman Eternal at #10 then I'll grab the trades for Batman Eternal. Is it just me or are these weekly comics shorter than the monthly counterparts?

Posted by CaptainMarvel4Ever

@samuel_simmons: I haven't been reading Eternal, but I am loving Futures End, which is funny because when I heard the concept I thought I would hate it.

@vandersexxx: I think it only feels shorter because unlike most comics that focus on one central story, this book focuses on many smaller stories.
