Is Stormguard is DC answer to Captain America ? I always think that Captain Atom should be the answer to Captain America. He is after all US Army. Love Captain Atom in Bruce Timm JL Cartoon

If Marvel Super Heroes had an MMORPG where you could take on a Mentor, Stormguard is the sort of character I would expect to come out of something like that (if your mentor was Captain America). Meaning I'm saying that the character looks like a Make your own character from a super hero MMORPG...Or he possibly looks like the villain from a fake sequel to Blank Man.

You know, Stormguard has a very... late 80's design. Not 90's, just 80's, like the new Power Ring.

Futures End just does not seem to have a point other than bringing Batman Beyond into The New 52 , Because you know we need more Batman related characters in the DCU.

Everything will be retconed if the solicits are anything to go by.

But I do like the writers on bored so I will stick with it.

@timelord: I basically have been considering it a year-long, weekly Elseworlds title... which is awesome, in my opinion.

I'm just curious as to why SHAZAM is dressing like supes? My guess is he accidentally killed superman and took up his mantle in his honor... who knows. i also consider this an elseworlds tittle.

Not yet, but his personality and one of the covers seems to point towards that.

i wonder if Guardian and Stormguard are on in the same since their using the same shield.

Good points, but in truth Captain Nathanial Adam is US Air Force. However, his involvement in "Project: Atom" does indeed make him a "Super-Airman" the same way that "Weapons: Plus" and the Super-Soldier Serum make Captain America a "Super-Soldier".

He was handled pretty well during the Justice League Europe and Extreme Justice days. And while I haven't read his New 52 stuff, I hope they're doing him a good service over there!

Lol....everytime i get a light week i pull Future's End just to see the ridiculousness..

Jesus DC, we get it. There's going to be a War, everythings going to end up sucking but it will be awesome to look at it. Can we please just get it started as a weekly so we can put this title out of it's misery.
