As for the article, I gave up on teen titans a while back. I don't see myself going back to it either. It just didn't hold my attention.

Is it just me or are all of Lobdells bad guys extremely mouthy?

Wow. This is the issue to get if you aren't reading Teen Titans. It looks extremely explosive, I do miss Brett's artwork a little.

I nearly died laughing when I saw Tim turning into a bird, and with the Reed Richards hair too?? priceless.

Okay, the neon suits look awful. Aside from being unnecessary for the most part since most of them have solid costumes already, but why are THREE of them red and the rest are all different colors? Could they seriously not think of two other colors to give either Tim and Cassie or SB and Cassie? It'd be fine if all 7 were red or if the big three were red like here are the rest followed bart's example are wore one complimentary color like orange/yellow, but it's just looks off when three members of your team match and the other four are all doing their own thing. It's like have a power rangers team were you have three active red rangers on the same team at all times.

I'm really enjoying teen titans because of the fact it's a mix of my favourite characters and some new characters.

although, why does scott lobdell say in interveiws that solstice is a brand new character to be introduced when even I have a few old universe issues of teen titans where she's on the team?

other than that I do realy like the storyline and I'm really looking forward to the culling.

Seems ok, is that Omen as in Lilith? I thought she was a good guy hanging out with Red Arrow and Starfire (from Red Hood and the Outlaws)...

If I read it correctly, Roy and Lilith might have common ground in morbid humor.

I like this art a lot better than what we have seen for these characters in past issues of this series

Guess there still won't be anything for me to read from DC yet. I keep hoping this series will get better, but it hasn't yet.

All the young justice characters that I wish never entered the Titans, two new characters that couldn't be blander, and one character that I really liked (Solstice) who barely got a chance to have her back story and origin set up by her creator before someone else rushed in and changed her almost completely.

Ad to that lack luster dialogue, a would-be edgy attitude/direction and angry, 90's style art and it all adds up to a title that doesn't deserve my dollars.

I'm gonna give Ravagers a try, but from what I've seen of the DCnU I don't entertain high hopes of picking it up either... It is a shame...

@sethysquare: I pick it off the shelf at the comic book store and read as much as I can before the art and dialogue starts hurting. I have given each issue a fair chance, but none of it has earned my money.

I'm actually enjoying this, which seems to be going against the grain here. I also like the tron-ish suits!

Well then I guess you haven't been reading Batman, Swamp Thing, Animal Man, Aquaman, Green Lantern, The Flash, Wonder Woman, The Shade, Blue Beetle, or Captain Atom...all of which have been awesome IMO. A lot of other series (that I haven't been reading) are supposedly really good as well: Nightwing, Supergirl, Justice League Dark, Green Lantern: New Guardians, etc. Also, this series wasn't so bad starting out, it was entertaining and fun. However, I do agree that it has taken a turn for the worst, especially in the last issue. Issue 7 was just bad. I will pick up Ravagers though, because it has some of the real Titans characters that I love.

Freaking Tron costumes on the cover are ugly as hell and stupid as all-get-out.

Even though the series does look kind of interesting (though, I am not liking the Tron suits), I am glad Raven is not showing up in Teen Titans anymore. I am still wondering what's the big plan DC has for her.

By the way, is that Lilith as Omen?

I like the story.....I do miss the old art but you can't have everything. Do not whine for your old Teen Titans teams, as they are not coming back, ever

So excited! I've just recently put Titans as one of my holds and have been catching up with this since it more or less it works in tandem with the Superboy book and will obviously crossover with it for The Culling. The more I read into it, the more I'm realizing that the story is not exactly unique, but it is still most interesting. In the end, the entire prelude to the Culling, and the event itself, smacks of the Hunger Games in oh so many ways. Mind you though I'm still on board and am really liking this title, especially the art. Man, Cassie is such a brat right now :/

I like Lobdell just fine but I don't think he can write Tim Drake.

I like the series but it's just too much too fast. Do miss the old art but this one suits me fine too. Tron suits are a bit much but whatever I can dig it. Looking forward to future issues thou. I have a feeling Titans will get better.

How worse can the New 52 get? Oh yeah Tron Titans!

I never liked this team composition. I prefer Superman and Flash with other groups really.

I don't dig the wildsiders costumes... otherwise it is okay, will be better once they kill off spiderchick. I am sure she was brought on to be killed.

Ugh... Visually, it's the whole Superman Red / Superman Blue thing all over again. (And -like Fantasgasmic said- reminiscent of flippin' Tron.)

Shame, I used to quite like The (New) Teen Titans back in the 1980s.

I don't like this version of the titans and not just because of the tron suits. I don't like their roster other than SB, Tim (although I liked his old RR costume a whole lot better), Wonder girl and KF (although I'd much rather have seen Wally than Bart if Barry's gonna be the Flash).

No, I haven't read them as I only read the books with characters I enjoy, and unfortunately most of the DC characters I really love either have yet to show up or have been put on team book that were either terrible (like Martian Manhunter in Stormwatchers and Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad) or are in a team book with such a large roster of higher ranking characters that they don't get to do enough to buy the book for their sake. Namely, Cyborg, who tho deserves very much to be on the JL, while the book has the likes of Superman, Wonder Woman, Hal Jordan and Barry Allen, poor Vic never gets much room to shine.

I'm sorry to say, but all the titles you mentioned are all about characters that I am completely indifferent about, and Two that I absolutely hate but will not name for fear of fans more rabid than I.

I DC gave Martian Manthunter, Cyborg, The Question, The Joker or the other characters I care about their own titles, I would buy them monthly until several recurrent, disappointing issues proved me wrong. The same would happen if they created a team title with 3 or four of the characters I like, but as neither of those have happened, I haven't been reading them.

Like you, I will be picking up Ravagers as it will feature one of my favorite artists and will use my absolute favorite character in the DC mythos, even tho they have made him red now (hopefully temporary) However, as he is my favorite character, I will be extra critical of Ravagers and it's treatment of him.

"I guess there still won't be anything form DC that I will be reading, enjoying, giving my money for, recommending to my friends, and not regretting the few minutes I spend scanning the pages to get a fair sampling of the books quality before putting back on the shelf with overwhelming disappointment."

When i say I am "reading" a series, I mean I am enjoying it, looking forward to the next issue, putting it in my pull list. In my day to day life i have read, billboards, advertisement and traffic signs, but never when describing my hobbies would I list "reading" said object. As far as I am concerned, I can lump the current Titans book in with traffic signs because I just read them to see if there is anything worth while further ahead. They are about as entertaining too, unfortunately.

Look, I am very glad you are enjoying the title, I simply can't. It features one character that I really like , and has run amok with her, and the writing and art simply aren't good enough to justify my reading about characters that I don't like or down right hate.

I am not criticizing you or your judgement, and I hope I can expect the same courtesy from you.
