Dammit. I was hoping they were all killed and we could all pretend that this abomination of a series never happened and the real Tim, Bart, Cassie, and Conner could come back and be likable again. These charisma-less impostors and their embarrassingly bad origins need to GO.

At least the art is better than where it started but it's still not great.

Ugh, thought bubbles, cheesy dialogue and omnipresent narrator...that's Lobdell alright...this series has been a drag.

5 days to leave here and make his way onto the 3:47 train...

Does he have to be on the train by the fifth day or just start making his way by fifth day? Is it five days including today or does that start at midnight? Can he be on any 3:47 on anyday up until the deadline? 3:47 is AM or PM? 5 days to leave here as in the church? Why would he stay in a church for 5 days? Where is the train headed?How fast is it going? When will it be at marker 160 mi, cause maybe he could grab a bite to eat or use the facilities if he timed it right?

Miguel has got to be wishing he was a little more specific on his instructions.

@lvenger: True............... Unfortunately. Honestly I wish DC would just do what Marvel did with the Ultimate Universe. Just reintroduce the REGULAR universe back, and leave the New 52. It could work!!! It did with Marvel

The only reason I will be reading this is because it is part of Forever Evil.It might not be that much connected to the main story but it is a tie-in.

meh the new 52 teen Titans have been crap.

I think it will be as 'tied-in' to FE as Phantom Stranger was. Reckon you wont miss anything this time either.

They're offing the Ultimate Universe now though and you and I both know juggling two different universes isn't what DC wanted. They wanted to be back in the game, for however short that may be, hence the faulty and full of errors New 52.

@lvenger: Yeah............ Still I think they've made they're point with the New 52. They got a lot of people into comics, which yeah I admit is a positive thing about it, but now I'm just wishing it would DIE!!

Like Ultimate Marvel I do enjoy a few things about the New 52, even a couple of series I really like, but for every one thing I enjoy there's about 6 different things I hate with a passion. Not just dislike, but hate.

@smart_dork_dude: I know the feeling. For every positive about the New 52, there's something else I dislike about it too. And it's the same with Marvel but even moreso which is strange considering what the New 52 has done.

It's been two years dude, the New 52 is here to stay, complaining about it won't change that.

I feel sorry for any Teen Titans fans out there, this book has been, all in all, awful. And this issue doesn't come across as any real improvement on the series.

@lvenger: Really my only major complaint against Marvel right now is the current situation with Spider-Man. But even with that, they've just added Spider-Man 2099 into the mix, which is great since he hasn't been around in a long time.

If only! I don't even want to read the last few chapters after what a mess Lobdell has made.

@outside_85: Superman #23 was done without him and i think there was a rumor that he tweeted that he was fired from teen titans, but that sounds too good to be true...

@2cool4fun: Getting text fired from TT was just a joke on his part that CBR jumped on (getting mostly a bunch of disappointed sighs from the forums).

It's actually quite odd to see the different reactions to this sort of thing; Gail Simone was rehired on the back of a tidal wave of outrage over getting removed from Batgirl with a text message (which is a seriously crappy way of getting sacked). But when Scott joked about it happening to him the reaction was more; "What? Are we finally getting rid of him?"

Hmm but in regards to Superman, not sure I would put so much into him not writing issue 23, with this Krypton event brewing, him reaching into a bunch of other books he isn't normally writing and trolling people at conventions I assume he is quite busy. :)

New 52 is staying.

I actually like the looks of this. Nice touch w/ Robin talking to Bunker from the time stream.

I hope this isn't leading to a retcon back to previous DC universe. I like this new 52. There are some things that could be improved, but overall it's great.

Aqualad ain't debuting anytime soon (judging by what Lobdell said in an interview), hopefully he will show up after this story. =/ Regardless, I really wish this series would get better... it's my favorite team and most of the issues have been really bland and downright confusing in some occasions (Trigon in New York, Raven and Beast Boy's sudden addition to the team, etc.)
