This is what you have to love about the DC Universe. We're in the middle of the H'el on Earth storyline in SUPERMAN, SUPERBOY and SUPERGIRL. H'el has already proven to be a major threat so Superman does the smart thing, he calls in the Justice League to help out. That's why they formed. H'el wants to go back in time and bring back Krypton but that will result in the destruction of Earth. Sounds like a Justice League level threat to me.
We also get to see that because Batman is prepared for everything, he can even handle the harsh temperatures of the North Pole.
DC Comics has given us an exclusive preview for SUPERBOY #16, on sale January 16.
