Exclusive Preview: RED HOOD AND THE OUTLAWS #16

Just wanted to also say that the covers are out of this world!

Plus I really liked the work of Scott in both TT and RHatO. But I will give T IV a chance for sure.

If that cover 19 is true and Red Hood dies again I will nerd rage so hard.

I actually enjoy the cover art to this book. There has been only one issue I didn't enjoy the art and that was issue #14.

@luisaraujo: My gosh if you believe the art in this book is bad you haven't seen bad art. Take a look at some of Romata jr's, Steve Dillon's or Liefield's work now that fits your description of crappy art.

Between Lobdell's average writing (seriously, in a back-up story he completely altered how/why Todd became Robin. A BACK-UP STORY), and Green's uninspiring pencils, the Tynion-led creative team can't come on soon enough for me.

@DonFelipe: From issue 19 Suayan is taking the job of the main penciller.

Aye, Rocafort's missed, but Lobdell has made me a fan of these characters (and, I suppose, of him). I guess I'm about to find out whether it's them or him that's kept me reading.

In general, I didn't feel like a crossover with this particular book and DotF was necessary. I was enjoying just how little Red Hood felt like a Bat book. *shrug*

Green's just not Rocafort I tell you but, still nice all the same.

The cover is awesome, I'm not too crazy about the interiors though. Also I'm not too happy about it tying in with Teen Titans. I gave that series a chance but the countless tie-in books made it a pain in the neck to follow and honestly I didn't really enjoy the story either. Red Hood has been mostly solid so far. These last few Lobdell issues will hopefully be good. Though even if they suck I'm still gonna hang in there to see what James Tynion does with the series.

Happy to see arsenal taking a lead. Also the point on meta's relying on powers is logical

After seeing even just this preview i hope they work together more. I like the 2 way door of trust and skepticism. Also maybe we would get more background information on What Starfire, Arsenal and their old group use to be up to at the Teen Titans age as well as if they ever called them selves by a team name

Eww. That art is awful. And don't tell me that stupid Arrow ad at the top is back. I will be so pissed....what's the point!? So ugly! I like the show, but damn.

The Lobdell/Green combination was just enough to scare me away from this series. We'll see what the next team cooks up.

I have to say this and Teen Titans have kind of let me down as far as their death of the family tie ins. I don't really know how to explain it but it doesn't have that kind of oomph! The other tie ins have had with me. Besides that both comics have been nailing it in my opinion.

I love Mico Suayan's style and can't wait for his art.

@DonFelipe: The Solicits for 19 put him as the main artist with Tynion writing. So I presume so.

you know, the art isn't great... but im so glad they are not hunting demons anymore... i just felt like this was the wrong team for that

Looks like a fun read. I cant wait to see how DoTF affects this book, I really want to see the team become more important in the DCU. I really have liked Lobdell's work in the new 52 alot.

I have really been enjoying Scott Lobdell on Red hood, Not so much on teen titans but if James Tynion gets a little help from Scott Snyder my interest is still there.

ROCAFORT! Wish he was still on Red Hood...hope the book doesn't go downhill after Lobdell leaves.

makes no sense they search out batgirl for help who barely gives them any and then there completely adversarial towards arsenal who is trying to do nothing but help

Wow great cover...Creepy but great. The art in the book was bad,whats up with the ball cap on roy ...dumb look.

I loved Timothy Green II on the Starlord mini, but this looks lacking.

I've loved the first 10 issues of this.. but the art now is looking horrid..looks like saturday morning cartoons for 13year olds. im finishing reading this after DOTF.. unless they bring back Kenneth Rocafort or someone like him
