I'm liking this book alot, I had some issue with the art and the story was meh but it grew on me. I also love to still be able to enjoy Kaine and Aracely after his book got axed.

@cyberwarrior: Well, Speedball is a ridicules character on many levels. In the start of his career, he just bounced around, hoping to eventually hit something.

@waezi2: Sorry... Not a fan of either. However, we're talking about "really cool", Justice is a decent character.

Also, I liked Penance very much. Though I'm happy that Robby wrapped up the whole self-torturing deal, his Speedball suit design is... ridiculous...

I'm pretty much reading this for the Inhumans Lash and his crew along with the Inhuman on the team. Kaine is also pretty cool but the Inhumans are really awesome. Lash seems like a great villain because he will no doubt go around trying to kill weak Inhumans after gathering most of the strong ones

If you want to know more about Hummingbird, you must check Scarlet-Spider [Vol. 2] series :) María Aracely Josefina Peñalba de las Heras, a.k.a. Hummingbird, appear for the first time in the first issue and is a constant character for nearly the whole serie :)

@thatlyn_yoaeg_ill_rymmin: This series is turning out to be pretty good. At first I wasn't too sure, but I'm impressed and for all the reasons you've shared. There should be lots of juicy story arcs coming our way with an eclectic group like the New Warriors.

I like Hummingbird even more now. Cool backstory.

Hummingbird is some sort of Mexican/Aztec Goddess [without knowledge of it], and she has show that she can use some tipe of magic-powers... and also we have a Nova, a Space-Type Hero...

I think that this team is the most complete and versatile marvel team [other than the Avengers] and good authors can use everything from marvel [mythos, magic, space/aliens, mutants, tecnology, ordinary criminal, avengers stuff, Inhuman and so on] for make good [and original, and varies] story :)

@dagmar_merrill: we dosen't have a Skrull or a Kree on this team... but they give us a Nova, a sort of Space-Cops, usually related with Skrull and Kree :)

This book has a mishmash of mostly every type of "species" of Marvel. Human, Atlantean, Clone, Inhuman, Mutant and I am probably missing something (Hummingbird, I am not sure what she is?)

It's a title worth keeping, just for that. I have to admit though, at the moment, Scarlet Spider is my favourite.

I've been wondering if I should read this comic every month since it came out. And I've been reading it since it came out.

No. Vance, Nova and Haechi say hi. The team has more than one cool character on the team.

Hummingbird has telepathy powers so she can read people's mind, she actually used her TP power to learn how to speak English (read Scarlet Spider for more info on her powers).

Haechi's my favorite but I like all the characters. Glad to see Speedball instead of Penance. Hummingbird seems cool, but I still am not sure what her powers are? She reminds me of Ravens from Teen Titans since they both have the ability to manipulate emotions.
