Exclusive Preview: JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA'S VIBE #8

Vibe had quite the revelation when he discovered his brother wasn't dead and now has to fight him.

Cool things are happening in the pages of JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA'S VIBE. Vibe is a character that has changed quite a bit from his original incarnation. His powerset is impressive and decided to stand against Amanda Waller and ARGUS has put him in a dangerous situation. If that wasn't bad enough, the brother he thought dead from Darkseid's attack all those years ago is actually alive. And he's not too happy.

Check out this exclusive preview for next week's issue.

It's pretty good and Gypsy is in it so that's always a plus.

Last issue she escaped but we didn't see her. That's it.

Man of Steel is part of the DC multiverse, apparently :O

Probably just a reference.

I like it. It isn't mind-blowingly spectacular or anything, but its a fun read and it has a genuine superhero vibe (no pun intended) that's often lost on superhero books these days. It doesn't try to be groundbreaking or anything, its just a fun read.

Am i the only one who is getting tired of those stupid ass letters on the front covers?

"Can he defeat an alien horde...led by his brother?" that sounds so dumb...

Or the most cliche ones:

"At the mercy of ****" "In the clutches of ****"

Like jesus, just let us enjoy the art...

I think i remember really enjoying the first couple of issues.

I didn't know this series existed! Although I'm not very interested in Vibe so I'm probably not going to read it either. Oh well, good for him and his fans.

Also in Justice League Dark.

Has she been back besides that one appearance? I've read the first two volumes of JLD and she was in it once, right after Sword of Sorcery was getting started.

Vibe is a great book.

What is the that cover a homage to, I've seen it on Spiderman, Identity Crisis and a couple of others, anyone know what the original is?

I wish Johns did more then help write the first issue and actually bring the character back in full force like he did with Green Lantern and Aquaman.

Yeah, I'm at the point where I have so many titles on my pull, anything that's not really doing it for me has to go...this is one of them.

@lcazt1996: She is now "member" of Justice League Dark, and she even was on Trinity War, as background character mainly.

Nice trip around the multiverse, one of the best DC books, a shame is not more popular

Edited by LCazT1996

@vitalius: The only time she's in Trinity War is when Shazam grabs Pandora's Box and goes all "Black Adam" on us. That two-page spread shows other magic characters everywhere feeling the disturbance. She's in Trinity War as much as Dr. Fate is.

Great with art, writing is just so so. I will check this out on shelves though when its out...

@lcazt1996:

I know she has been in Justice League Dark, but she wasn't there for Trinity War. I literally just looked at the page where Wonder Woman talks to them in JLD #22. I promise you that she is not there. Go look at the pages yourself.

I really can't stress enough how much I enjoy the fact that they intertwine the comic book storylines.

So, I just looked at January's list and I didn't see Vibe, does any one know if the book was canceled?
