Exclusive Preview: GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY #15

@xwraith: Hmm, that's unfortunate. I'm getting it for Captain Marvel, and haven't been particularly wowed by #14 or the Free Comic Book Day issue. Hopefully she won't be in it too long then.

I've heard good things about their run.

In a word, no.

The Dan Abnett/Andy Lanning GotG that ran from 2008-2010 is immeasurably better. That one is finally getting reissued in TPB form in July.

Should I expect good things from this series?

I like the book but Bendis's retconning and general lack of knowledge regarding some of the characters is annoying. Then again, its not a new issues as this happens all the time with DC and Marvel.

I wouldn't mind reading this series, but it can't seem to make it even five issues before it's crossing over with something else.

I like the Bendis GotG...

But anywho, I don't mind them having a rotating cast of Avengers (or Avengers-related characters) joining the cast. I liked GotG 14 and the FCBD issue. So I'm gonna keep buying it. :)

He does that with pretty much every character. At least we have the Rocket, Star Lord and Guardians 3000 ongoing for our non-Bendis GOTG related needs.

Can the GotG do anything without outside help.

Next week Stan Lee joins the team!

Bendis has pretty much retconned everything about him at this point.

I dropped this book after issue 13, feeling more like I had read "GOTG & Friends Marvel Adventures" than anything that really connected me to any of the 5 characters on the team. Looks like nothing is about to change.

This looks really good, makes me sad I haven't been reading the series.

Already Venom's not on the cover?! Argh! I like Venom and Cap Marvel and the GOTG so this is perfect for me.
