I haven't been reading Corps. but I've been meaning to...

Can't wait for this arc to end

This is the best team book on the stands. It never lets me down. I can't wait for this issue.

I've tended to read a hell of a lot of Marvel lately since when I started New 52, I started by reading Dial H and Swamp Thing as I couldn't afford to get the big hitters like Batman and Green Lantern off eBay, but after reading the newer Batman stuff (this refers to Gothtopia, I loved DotF) I was severely disappointing.... I was disappointing in Red Lanterns too, is it worth attempting any of the GL books?

Ok this falls into the giant story arc that pops up more often then it should. I mean how much can you put the heroes through before they just say "Heck with this." and walk away. Can we just get back to telling stories for awhile please?

Love that Mike Allred cover. It's not enough to get me to buy this, but it's still nice.

Green Lanterns don't give up. That's the point. It's epic.

Oh wow, the names of those new Lanterns are really horrible.

How do you guys rate GLC?

@sinestro_gl: I find it kind of boring. The other books have something really compelling to draw you in, this one just doesn't feel like it has as much to offer.

@sinestro_gl: Well, if you read about the brief story on Von Daggle Peter Tomasi's run and like it, then I'm sure you'll like this book as well, since Von Daggle is playing an important role in this story as well. So far this book and new guardians are my favorites. Red Lanterns and GL are my least favorites so far.

The last issue of GLC wasn't that great, compared to the previous issues, since it took away the current story's focus.

@sinestro_gl: It's the second highest selling GL title for a reason. These guys hate John Stewart and want to hurt sales of the book. They trash GLC every chance they get, but every comic site rates GLc with 8-10/10 every month.

You know who I miss? Katma Tui.

I dropped Green Lanterns due to this arc.

@captain13: I mean I get that they want to have the characters grow up and react to loss, but it's kinda pointless in a story that will never end. All you're doing is cutting characters and concepts that people liked. Plus, they've really milked the living s**t out of Xanshi.

Johns and Tomasi did. He had John get over it, then do it again, then get over it again. They didn't get the character at all. Venditti and Jensen do though. It's a great time to be a GL fan. I hope there's a way to get John's guardianship history back, lol. First and only human to be a guardian!

@captain13: Maybe someday John'll be written as something besides "black, Green Lantern that was in military" and take the spotlight from hal.

@herokiller12344: Jensen and Chang are doing him justice in GLC right now. He rebuilt the Corps, saved the Corps in Light's Out, and has an important leadership role. :)
