Daaamn, feels like a Wildstorm book

@weaponmaster: In a world where we can get away with this same level of gore on television, I sincerely doubt this comic will uproot society and turn the young into killers.

Television and movies are guilty of the same thing but that does not make it either right or meaqn that it won't affetc children even further. And if you actually read my post carefully you would see that I stated that it was more gore, meaning yet another medium and more images and scenes feeding children and teens this filth. By the time the average American is 18 they have seen well over 8,000 murders on television alone. Comic books used to be a genre where death was rare but now they are becoming more and more bloody and ultra-violent. Also if you had read carefully you would have seen that I also stated that it would turn more kids into bloodthirsty adults with little or no regard for human life, not killers. There is a marked difference between the two.

Regardless, I'd love to see a legitimate study that shows modern children have "little or no regard for human life" due to an increase of violence in the media.

Incredibly violent, but has still been one of my favorite new 52 books.

Weapons such as the mind and the body, which is what my username refers to, when used defensively or for just reasons, are quite different from murdering multiple people for profit.

The "legitimate study" is the world around you and if you cannot understand that there is a direct correlation between what children are exposed to hundreds of thousand of times and their behavior and mindset then you are likely beyond the capability to be reasoned with.

The fact that you are defending a book where people are decapitated and cut in half for profit, which is actually showing your low regard for human life, is what is truly ironic.

If you had have actually taken the time to read carefully you would see that i never stated it turned them into killers. Bloodthirsty with little or no regard for human life was what I actually typed.

Your overused graph is irrelevant as being bloodthirsty and needing to see people become dismembered or murdered or tortured or beaten severely in the different mediums, both fictitious and real, for entertainment is not a crime. It is, however, indicative of a lack of regard for human life and exhibiting bloodthirsty traits.

Just the simple fact of you defending violence and gore, in any genre, and your obvious desire to view these images is also indicative of your relative lack of regard for human life and general bloodthirstiness.
