Okay, if you are stating that as fact (since you didn't type 'I Think') you're going to have to explain why you think so. That's a pretty big arguement to make considering that Superman is one of the most popular and beloved superhero today and throughout the history of comics.

This looks FANTASTIC. Classic Superman, classic Darkseid, and the Infinity Man (which means the possibility of my favorite group of New Gods, the Forever People!) I don't know why I'm not reading this, but I'm going to start.

Superman will always be the greatest superhero regardless if you like it. Get used to it.

you say superman no longer needed YOU ARE WRONG ...popular opinion seems to disagree with your unpopular assement of whats needed and no longer needed in the modern age of comics.

@dondave: Hmmm, this may be worth checking out then. I can read it and pretend that all this New 52 shit never happened; maybe it'll hold me over until this new universe gets interesting...if ever.

Yeah you obviously haven't watched Man of Steel which modernizes him and makes him relevant again, just because you don't like the character (I wasn't a fan of his either before the MoS version) doesn't make him irrelevant.

So...what exactly is this series. He's in his old costume (aka the good costume), so is it the continuing adventures of pre-flashpoint superman? Or like a parallel earth title? Is it worth checking out?

Supes articles are being pushed to the front of the line the past couple weeks since the best superhero movie of the year just came out. Bet the same thing happened with Batman, Iron Man, Avengers, etc... And when Kick Ass 2 is in theatres I expect to see a few extra Kick Ass articles. I believe its called being topical.

@beserkerfury: He is a comic book character. If you look closely there are articles featuring other characters aswell. Superman may not be my favourite character, but he is still enjoyable and besides, there is a lot of Superman news lately anyway.

yeah i mean why would anyone be celebrating superman? its not like its his 75th year or theres a blockbuster movie just released or anything right?

@beserkerfury: They have previews of all the popular/new comics based around any character, not just Superman. The third article you are referencing is about General Zod as a new DLC character in Injustice: Gods Among Us, but they've had that for all the DLC characters, including Batgirl and Scorpion (both of which have nothing to do with Superman). As for the fourth article, in case you haven't heard, Superman just had a movie, which is sort of a big deal.
