Exclusive First Looks: Green Hornet In November

Get ready for a lot of green in November.

Whether you're a new or old Green Hornet fan, there is a lot of comics to fill your Green Hornet needs. Dynamite Entertainment has been doing a great job bringing back Green Hornet to comic readers' attention. I read some of the Green Hornet comics back in the 80s when (the now defunct) NOW Comics put out the comic. The comics coming out today have a broad appeal and are great even if you haven't been reading the character for years or decades.

Dynamite has also given us an exclusive first look at the covers for the Green Hornet comics coming out in November.

First off is Kevin Smith's Green Hornet. This series has been great in getting to know the new current Green Hornet. I've been enjoying this series quite a bit.

Green Hornet and Kato's confrontation with The Black Hornet has left them in an unimaginable death trap of epic proportions. Only Kato's drastic, dangerous gambit can save them. Even if it does, The Black Hornet's insidious plans for Century City spell doom for our heroes. Only their self-sacrifice can prevent the utter destruction of their beloved city. Will the new Green Hornet's first mission also be his last?

As much as I like Kevin Smith's Green Hornet, I believe Green Hornet: Year One may be my favorite. I've never been to Chicago in the 1930's, but Aaron Campbell's art has to be the next best thing.

Green must be the new yellow, as in GOLD!

I like The Green Hornet, I've been getting most of the series and miniseries since the relaunch (and the new Golden Age Remastered collection is AWESOME)... but I fear it's starting to get a bit over-exposed. Are people REALLY buying it that much? I don't want a good series to be canceled due to low sales because someone decided it would be wise to flood the market with The Green Hornet...

I love what Smith is doing with the Hornet, It's beyond great! but I can help feel like a chump for falling for this horribly excessive publicity stunt for the up-coming (and sure to be a disaster at the box office thanks to that doosh Rogen) Green Hornet Movie.

Cuz, in case nobody has noticed, that's exactly what this is!

kato is a chick ?

Posted by jloneblackheart
@skaarason: It's Kato's daughter and Britt's son

I'm enjoying all of these books except Parallel Lives.

How long is the mini-series? They should have said Maxi-Series instead. I hope that everying will be great at the ending. So far I've seen this new Green Hornet as BATMAN BEYOND, except for the furturist world around the characters....

this looks good...im gonna have to start reading this

Hellfire Club? WTH? Hellfire Club is already used in X-Men comics.

It has gotten out of control. I will probably drop Parallel Lives and skip Blood Ties. Also, I may drop the two Kevin Smith titles. Year One and Kato Origins are clearly the superior titles and Strikes is a fun diversion.

I had no idea anyone was still reading Green Hornet; color me surprised....

I don't need to buy all the green hornet books thou its too much so I am going to have to be picky somehow. Year one and Kevin smith's run are my main as well as the strikes one but I dropped it because the second issue was boring anyway plus I don't need the classic reprints including green hornet parallel lives cause its not great enough to be bought for me.

I am going to have to disagree with you about all these comics being a marketing tool for the upcoming movie. Considering all of these titles have nothing to do with the movie. What they are is an homage to one of comics coolest characters, I didn't grow up watching the TV show, but I did get to watch it along with batman when it was rebroadcast, not to mention listening to the old radio show on XM Radio. I haven't read all the titles, but I have read Kevin Smith's and the Parallel Lives and I am enjoying both very much.

To which part? But yes, really to both statements.

Bloody hell, I hope this is better then his runs on Batman and Spider-Man, as a fan of both good writing and the characters I found both series to be nonsensical at best and horrible at worst.
