Exclusive First Look: REVOLUTIONARY WAR: DARK ANGEL #1

The Marvel UK characters are back and there's a big threat headed their way.

Dark Angel first appeared in 1992. Marvel released several comics in their Marvel UK line and I was a big fan. I should dig out my old copies. I remember Dark Angel being a cool character.

With the return of these characters in Revolutionary War, we're seeing the long awaited return of these characters.

Check out this exclusive first look at the Dark Angel one-shot of Revolutionary War.

Same reason for the rest of her outfit, and the reason this article started with the sentence, "Dark Angel first appeared in 1992."

The 90's. That's why.

Like Superman didn't wear his underwear outside his tights for what, 80 years or so?

There's a bit of difference between 'red strongman underwear that match the cape and boots', and 'dayglo orange thong on a black, white, purple, and green outfit'.

I've never read anything Marvel UK related except for whatever Captain Britain would appear in. The art looks nice. I suppose it'd be nice to read up on this RW series. But funds are tight for me now so I'll wait for the trade or HC.

Not a thong. See the last picture? Those are briefs. Yes, it's still silly, but tossing around a "LOL 90s" response is stupid. Wearing underwear on the outside is a fashion faux pas as old as comics themselves, not some travesty invented in the 90s.

At $3.99, this book might last 6 issues.

I'm not liking the artwork to be honest, her expressions seem odd and she's little too bald.

Can't say I'm really as interested in some of these 90's characters they're trying to revive, would rather see more of Captain Britain and Union Jack but I'm still willing to give them all a look.

I'm really looking forward to this actually. I loved her character as a kid. I thought it was hilarious that they had to change her name as the Hell's Angels threatened to sue.

Eight issues over eight weeks actually, all eight issues based on eight different Marvel UK properties. It is an event taking its name from the nickname of the era when Dez Skinn became the Editor in Chief of Marvel UK.

@damswedon: Ahh, thought it was an ongoing. Thanks.
