Exclusive First Look: MS MARVEL #4

I've been really into this series, I'm excited for this next one!

I have really enjoyed this story thus. Something about characters coming into their own is really exciting to read. So many of my other favorite heroes have been at it so long you rarely see them struggle beyond superhero fair.

Fantastic book is fantastic

I'll stick until issue 5 to see if I like it. Haven't been very fond of it.

I wanted to read this, but the art is just rough. Really not my taste. Maybe I will just wait for a trade and then try to muddle through the art. The cover is nice, though.

I need to start reading this been taking a break from marvel stuff.

Fanny pack? Or "My First Utility Belt?"

@ms__omega: You do its a really great book so far and its almost impossible not to love Kamala.

I still wish Marvel would give her a different superhero identity.

Can't wait for this issue. I've been loving the series so far.

The last issue ended on quite a surprise, so it'll be interesting to see where that goes.

Is this referring to another new character I wonder? Probably just Kamala showing herself as a hero whilst not looking like Carol actually.

sooo based on all the art that I've seen in various previews, it appears that she is just Elasti - Girl from the DOOM PATROL???

Yeah, I'm not sure how it got formatted that way and for some reason I can't change it. Cartoony is fine, but the female lead looks like a man in quite a few of those panels. Unless that is a man in the first couple of panels?! I don't know, it looks like he or she has a soul patch.

@theblackhood: That is a man in the first few panels. He's one of Kamala's friends.

This isn't the case. She's a shapeshifter too. The Captain Marvel in the first few panels is actually Kamala.

Her costume would be better if she lost the red body suit under the blue dress.

I always use them.

But no one is using the Captain Marvel mantle either so Carol might as well use it.

She's a muslim so that's not going to happen

The more of this I read the lamer her powers get because she doesnt have the personality to make them cool.

Im going to avoid this book like a disease. The Idea of a new Ms. Marvel is good and her having a diffrent powerset is good idea but i just dont like the tone of this book or its art.

@teerack: It's still early though. She may get more proficient with them with a little time.

@v_scarlotte_rose: I don't think there is hope of this character being cool. We are just stuck with her. Which is very sad since Marvel has been very good at making young female heroes in the past(Pixie, Hope, Spider-Girl, X-23, Armor, etc.) but they just kind of dropped the ball with her and gave her a horrible personality.
