It's 2061 in real life not in comic time, it's not the future.

You sure it isn't the future in comic time? Cyclops looks pretty old in the last panel

He might have aged according to Marvels sliding timeline. So it would make sense that he looks just a few years older.

...but, I haven't read any of the interviews, so I don't really know

interesting ideas presented, who is in the bed with Emma, what happened to her, how in the world do you go from public enemy number one to President?

But still not enough to make me pick this up, X-men+possible future events=kicking a dead horse

What will 2061 be like for the X-Men? Well, hopefully they'll be free from Fox & Marvel Studios will have the rights & be able to make an epic X-Men movie to make up for all the mediocre ones, and make them a part of the awesome MCU.
