Are either of these series good? They both have good previews, I have never got an issue but I am curious

Jennifer Blood has upped its game of late. It used to be a pretty mediocre series, but the last two or so arcs have been significantly better.

Is it worth it in trade or digitally? I am looking to try and cut back on superhero titles and diversify a bit.

It's like a lot of books that are either written or created by Garth Ennis: it starts out as a sub-par shock value kind of publication, trying to push the envelope as much as possible, but eventually it decides to take itself seriously and the storytelling improves as a result. There are 31 issues so far, I'd say the first ten or so are okay, but it starts to get mediocre around the middle before eventually improving again. Check out the first couple of issues digitally to see if it's your kind of book instead of buying it in trade form right off the bat.

I lost interest in Jennifer Blood like 3 or 4 issues ago and now I am really torn apart if I should start reading it again or not.

Can't speak for Blood, but I have been reading Vampirella. While it has had it's ups and downs, overall, I enjoy the series. I can't vouch for the multitudes of miniseries they have, but the main series is enjoyable.

I stoped reading it after Ennis left and then I tried it again and I found out she killed her husband and that drove me away

@citizenbane: that is a good idea, I will check it out, I didn't know it was that long though. That changes things with my budget but I will definitely look.

@wyldsong: Ok cool I will check it out. I don't know why this is bolded...

It's funny how Vampirella & Jennifer Blood can hold down solos and Wonder Woman can't. Meanwhile, she's an "icon" LOL.

Vampirella is hot!

Sorry that was just my inner lesbian showing. But seriously... It is a good read. Solid. Has its ups and downs but hey so does Thor... So does anyone really.

........Wonder Woman has held down a solo for decades now. There is actually a legal requirement on DC's part to keep a Wonder Woman ongoing around or risk losing the rights to the character.

Love these solid titles from Dynamite. Haven't a negative thing to say about 'em!
