Um, where does it say that Hal Jordan is coming back to Earth? I think the "surviving member" is Batman... Wonder how Sinestro ties into this.

I wonder if this will tie in to GL. Vendetti's killing it, but I suppose if someone is going to write something that may influence that title, then Johns is the guy.

It'd be cool if Hal came back but honestly if Hal came back he'd probably want to bring the Corps which would be sort of a really easy loophole for the heroes to get their own army to fight against the army of villains that have sided with the Secret Society & Crime Syndicate.

guy and the red lanterns have kicked the greens out of 2814. if sinestro and hal show up, there will be a big battle again, and all lanterns will be kickedoff 2814, building up to the house of lanterns in twilight of the superheroes. i smell our next big crossover

Covers are always an exaggeration. So this probably translate out too: Sinestro's coming back.

@eneguema_i: the surving member bit refers to Cyborg, not Batman. Batman is not struggling to survive.

I was wondering when Sinestro would come into play in this event. Johns said he would play a role in Forever Evil. Though I don't know why Sinestro would come to Earth of all places and on what business or reason he'd go there. Still I do love Sinestro so his role should be interesting at least.

@herokiller12344: yeah, it sounds like so many things will be revealed here that sinestro may just get one or two pages, which is not a bad thing but may not warrant him on the cover

I was thinking about this too and the only conclusion I could come up with was that Sinestro kept his promise to Hal by staying away from the corps but knowing Hal was too occupied with all the Corps stuff he decided to come to Earth and help save it FOR Hal. Since they're friends and all.

O, thats most likely will be not only about helping friend, but also for vengeance, for revenge. Dont forget that Power Ring's ring was before Flashpoint possesed by spirit of Voltoom. And who is Voltoom in post-Flashpoint univerce? He is First Lantern, Destroyer of Korugar, whose ring was "banished back into his corrupted univerce" in Green Lantern #20.

So Power Ring can hold out a Parallax powered Sinestro huh? The more you know.

This actually makes me wonder if Hal even knows what's happening on Earth at the moment. I know he's off in space trying to rebuild the GL Corp, but you'd think he'd have some way to keep track of what's happening back home. Not to mention that with the whole GL Corp as his disposal he could be a big game changer in Forever Evil.

@lcazt1996: I agree with you. I do not think they will bring back Hal. He would be bringing the whole Corps and that would probably be an easy wins for most of the Lantern Corps, even if the sector belongs to the Reds now.

I wouldn't mind them at least acknowledging what's going on with Hal and the Corps (like a scene with Hal on Oa hearing about it or something).

Maybe the Reds could show up and go after them and I do think that the current Red Lanterns could be taken out by the villains. And honestly even if Hal came back and just brought along the senior guard I could see that being a problem for the Corps too. Like Hal, Kilowog, Salaak, and John basically, right?

Actually thinking about it now I think it would be ridiculous for them not to at least mention the Corps or show them in a situation and basically have it be not possible for Hal to make it back to Earth because he's so busy with the Corps or something.

I have a strong feeling they are going to depower Paralax like a B!tch.
