Exclusive: BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT #23

I really enjoyed Snyder's run with Clayface, short as it was. Does that mean I will enjoy this to, or will I just be disappointed?

Looks interesting and it's the only Batbook I don't buy. May have to check this out.

Looks good, but compared to Snyder Batman? Meh.

Well it does make sense that Clayface is killing the security guys - the one with the weapons - first. The girl looks like she couldn't do any harm; not that the security guys really could but i guess it's always about the perfect timing like u said. Batman's always trying to wait for the right moment to make a move, and lets be honest we want him to save the girl and not some random security guy who couldn't even take care of himself.

Aren't they just recycling a scene from Dark Knight Rises here? God, I can't believe they got Alex Maleev to work on this dumpster fire of a series.

Okay, the art is good, what about the writing recently?

Alex Maleev is one of my favorite artists. I would really like to see Lemire and Maleev do an ongoing Batman series and The Dark Knight would be the perfect one for them.

Batman is Cold.

Batman tricked Clayface to think he's somebody else,since Clayface can now copy anyone perfectly even your DNA (but can't get the memories). They didn't fight Batman tricked agains lock him up in unbreakable cage.

And of course it's the girl that get's saved. All of those people are killed yet the girl is the last left alive and to only one to get saved. Great timing as usual Batman.

Clayface looks like sh*t on the cover...literally.

I hope Maleev stays on a Batbook for a loooooooooooong time! He is perfect for Batman.

Now I go and reread his Daredevil.

Alex Maleev is the best thing that's happened to this title. I've been subscribed to it for just over a year now and this was the first issue I enjoyed. lol

Comparing this series to Batman...Which one is better? I just brought Batman Vol 1 "The court of Owls".

Didn't he just fight Clayface and after that last story there is no way Basil doesn't know who Batman is.
