I'd help fight in the war, then use my new powers to explore more uncharted worlds in the galaxy

I would definitely fight the war and help out Dejah. But then I would selfishly use my powers to enter the Mars Olympics and get the gold in the long jump!! :-)

I would build my powers and honed them until I was a master at them at which point I would travel and explore the world. I would help those if they truly need it but I would not be looking for trouble.

Probably freak out for like a second, then realize this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and make the most of it. I would make contact with some indigenous group, learn the language, gain their trust and use my enhanced skills to improve their life.

Or...

Just conquer them with my godlike powers. Just depends on the mood I'm in!

If I was transported to Mars, I would gather all the White Apes and return to earth to destroy everything and bring about the Apocalypse!

If landed on Mars and found out their was life on the planet. I would probably try to learn about the alien's culture, but than probably want to go back to earth.

I'd become a Martian Robin Hood robbing from the rich and giving to the poor.

I would become A badass superhero embassitor, and after finding a way home to earth, I would use my abilities to in force peace in mars and establish communications between mars and earth... I would also crown myself as high king of the Martians ...

if i were transported to mars like in the move/book i like to believe i would use my powers to save mars and bring about peace. i would be tempted to use it for personal gain, but if my ideals are strong i would... basically become the "superman" of mars and fight to protect it.

so i wouldn't try to return to earth, i would be happy living on mars being a superhero

Just a contest question, do I have to live in the States?  Or can I have family in which I could use their address?

In a "realistic" situation, I would probably back out at first after being so scared of my new environment. Yet, like most people here, I have dreamed of becoming the protagonist of my on "hero" story. After realizing the chance I have to be just what I have always dreamed of I would probably take a stab at stopping the war. Then, after my heroic endeavors take place, I would try and find a way to go back and forth from Mars to Earth. I need to eat some earthling food after all!

After I get my ass to Mars, I would probably go searching for those Prothean ruins. Mass Effect had some cool gadgets that I wouldn't mind testing out.

And those Asari... I guess I'd like to embrace eternity? On Mars?

Not sure what I would do, but I would definitely wear a cape. That's just how I roll.

I would enter the war to bring peace and justice to all of Mars. I wouldn't come back to Earth I would be so much more on Mars.

I'd live the lifelong dream of being a kick ass superhero. Depending how life on Mars went, I may decide to stay and try to make a life for myself.

Are you kidding!? Who would give up the chance to live on another planet!? I love mystery, the unknown and all things that are different. I would absolutely help bring peace to Mars. Then I would be free to return to Earth to see my family and friends whenever I wanted to and then return to my home on Mars.

If I were in john caters shoes I would use my powers to get dejah thoris. What ever i needed to do to get her would be my main goal, then once I get her, steal her and transport back to earth with her by my side.. haha

I would certainly be a champion of the oppressed, just like Carter was for the Green and Red Martians. I would bring those White Martians to heel but still try to find a way to use that Barsoom technology to transport between Mars and Earth at will.

I'd fight to win the war for whichever side was in the right. Chances of ever getting home are slim, so I'd just focus on helping the inhabitants of the planet.

Transported to Mars, I would use my powers for good. I would help the Martians and then, after winning the war, I'd return to Earth and help lead them into a peaceful future.

In all honesty I'd explore, be like the Christopher Columbus or Charles Darwin of Barsoom. I'd study every culture, historical fact, building, all of it. I'd use my enhanced strength and speed to keep out of the hands of those who would do me harm (i.e. Tharks, Zodangans, ex cetera) and record all that happens like a Martian William of Tyre. Maybe if necessary I'd use my talents to right wrongs while on the road, like Caine in Kung Fu; walk from place to place, meet people, get into adventures. Probably sounds boring but it's the truth for me at least.

Fight in the war but take the first chance to go back to earth that presented itself

I would totally use my powers to fight in the war. I don't know if I would or would not use them for personal game. I probably would. I figure Vegas rules would apply to Mars, so it wouldn't really matter. I'd probably help them build massive civilizations so I could become their first superhero. I think I would eventually want to get back to Earth, but I would probably enjoy my powers on Mars for a while!

I would do it for my own personal gain! Life of riches and luxury!

I would rule with an iron fist as supreme overlord of Mars and plot the invasion of Earth.

I would try to bring the war to a peaceful resolution, and I would at least seek to communicate with earth. Ideally I would be able to travel back and forth at will.

I would try everything I could to get back home. That's what happens when you have family on Earth. But then I would take them back with me. Think about it one human with crazy leaping ability is cool. You can win a war with that. But with 5? You could solve anything.

If I was transported to Mars I would first find those aliens who kidnapped those mom's and make them realize what they're doing is wrong in order to hopefully prevent that movie last year from being made. Then I'd find Martian Manhunter and have a break dance off with him. Sip some redbull, grow some wings, and float back to earth.

Oh, I'd have to set myself up a harem. Plain and simple. Sorry for being a misogynist… but have you see the red women of Mars? HAVE YOU!?

I would use my powers to Rule all of mars, and live my life as Supreme Ruler High Emperor of Mars, until I'm killed by some of my underlings because they don't like my Iron fisted rule. but it will be a sweet ride up until that point.

I genuinely loved the books and movie....

I f I were to live on Mars, I'd use their advanced technology and wisdom to wipe the memories of all Earthlings of modern sci-fi influences... Spielberg, Lucas, Cameron, Ridley Scott, Roddenberry, Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, Siegel & Schuster ---

so that they could rewatch JOHN CARTER and realize just how genius and creative and original Burrough's vision and contributions to the sci-fi genre were. The movie would be soooo successful that the books would be re-read by a new generation... more films would follow. And credit would be given to those who deserve it for opening our imaginations and spawning a genre that has given all of us endless hours of enjoyment.

Have to fight the war to get the girl. Once I got that out of the way, I'd go to the North & South poles and explore the mysteries of Yellow, White, and Black Martians. And of course jump a lot.

I haven't seen the movie yet (I know, I know...). But, from what I can tell, my powers would come in handy in the war. Getting back to earth would be cool, but who wouldn't want to become an extraterrestrial superhero first!

i would save mars. bring peace to the planet. rule the planet,b be a good ruler. i would find a way to were i could travel back and forth from mars to earth!!!. i would miss our great planet earth!!!!

If I was transported to mars and found that I had all that strength, I'm very sure that I would be finding some jerk to try it out on. I would also teach martians how how to play earth sports. I would be great at all of them and become the most famous person on mars, then they would make a movie about me. "Redhoodx of mars".

I would develop an iPad and a long range wi-fi so I wouldn't miss a single day of the Comic Vine!!

If I was transported to Mars, I would act like Namor and mate with royalty of the species that I would find in order to one day after years of planning and subterfuge, would slowly and successfully kill off the other members of royalty until I was the next in line to rule the kingdom of Mars species.

I would set an example by using my abilities for demonstrations against war. Hopefully, a man that could easily win the war from either side showing you his prowess and then refusing to use it for gain, politically or monetarily, would serve as a strong message for the people of Mars. Also, I'd fight crime. Haha.
