Can't wait. Really enjoying Dynamite's work on Vampirella and Dejah Thoris. Red Sonja has always been great under them. Honestly, Dynamite has slowly turned into my favorite non DC/Marvel publisher over the past few years since they've acquired other properties (namely Chaos! Comics). Too bad they didn't get Lady Death - although I really enjoy her new series.

I did like the Red Sonja cover art. I don't know why I feel like I've seen the Vampirella cover art before somewhere. I'll definitely pick up the Red Sonja comic. I'm not sure about the Vampirella because I am not enjoying Vampirella vs Dracula series. I was hoping for more Jennifer Blood and Ninjettes.

Does anyone actually buy Vampirella, Red Sonja and Deja Thoris for the plot?

This preview makes me think Dynamite is transitioning into soft core comics....

It is sad how misogynistic these covers are. I like Dynamite comics a great deal, but these covers are a sad statement of commercialism and pleading to the lust of young men, or old men, either way. Would it be that story content and non soft core porn covers and art work isn't enough? What a cheap trick this is. The second covers of both Vampirella and Mars are straight out of a playboy or some such. It is cheap, unclassy, inappropriate and most of all, it belittles the Name Brand of Dynamite. This was a poor editorial decision. I bought "Prophecy" this past month and i had to hide the cover from my wife and daughter because I was embarrassed by it. I would love to be the EIC for Dynamite and change what is a promising opportunity to expand and grow and become a major player, maybe even getting more than one title in the top fifty selling titles according to Diamond. It is decisions like this that has kept Dynamite from growing. These characters are beloved and don't need a pornographic cover to sell them. I just think of the wasted potential.

Yes please preach on! Because we all love to hear the same thing every time Red Sonja, Vampirella, and Dejah Thoris comics get previewed on this site. Perhaps Comicvine shouldn't preview these comics at all because they offend your's and a lot of other people on this sites delicate sensibilities.
