Doomsday Gameplay Video for 'Injustice: Gods Among Us'

Get a first look at Doomsday in action and witness the craziest power move yet!

We have no idea how many spots are left on the official roster, but we do now know that Doomsday is playable! A video was released today showing off the brute's set of moves and he definitely looks like quite a powerhouse. Check out the video below to see the villain pummel Shazam through the freaking planet!

Two key questions for you now, Viners.

Are you eager to play as Doomsday?
What alternate costume would you like to see for him?

Injustice: Gods Among Us comes out April 16th.

Best special so far. Also, I like how his special is the opposite of Superman's.

Beat a man all the way through a planet, then turn around and beat him through the planet again going back. That is some seriously high tonnage overkill.

Good special but apart from that his move set seems mostly similar to that of Bane's and Grundy's, as in nothing cool to look at except some punches, kicks and throws. Boring. I'd like to see his nanite Steel costume.

I like his look. They need to bring him back (should have redone his death in Action Comics when they had the chance) and make him scary again

Good Lord, that was ridiculous.

I can't wait for this game. I really hope Red Hood is a playable character, but since we already have Batman and Nightwing I really doubt it..........Sigh...........At least I still got Deathstroke.

I got very happy to see this Doomsday being one of my favorite villains, his ultimate definetly is EPIC, but I was kinda underwhelmed with his normal moves.. except for 1 ground pound they are all normal kicks and punches, I much prefer the style of Grundy wich involved alot more grappling and smashing into the ground wich looked really cool and more "Bruiser" like.

Aside from his super Doomsday looks like a pretty generic character I rather use Grundy or Bane.

For an alternate costume, I say have him look like the "All American" from the K storyline of Superman/Batman comic...

Yeah I know, technically this isn't Doomsday but the look nevertheless is.

Other than that, awesome footage, even if that fight had PIS written all over it lol.

I wasn't impressed and rather would have had doomsday left out of the game. His fighting style looks boring.

@mk111: So his cut scene special makes up for his lack of moves? At least Grundy has some variety besides punching and kicking.

If you say so. Some people really like power characters, and some don't, I guess.

Doomsday is a cooler character than Grundy, IMO.

Well, in the comics, Lex Luthor cloned Doomsday. Maybe they can use that excuse.

Or they'll just be lazy, and nothing will happen.
