Disney's Maleficent - "Dream" Trailer

FOR REALS!? Its been a very long time since I saw the cartoon and yes that villain was indeed dark, and now re-imagined by the writer of Batman? I'm game to see this. >:D

I'm going to pass. the first trailer looked awesome the seconded trailer ruined it and show what the movie really was.

Gia , Bone collector , Changeling , Salt , Tourist are all great films and none of which she is portrayed as a sex symbol in, and if you want some laughs mr and mrs smith is great.

Bone collector was great, I can't name another movie of the top of my head.

this looks amazing, but i feel like the movie is gonna be more about the villain instead of sleeping beauty lol

Better than the first trailer but I'm not a fan of the film taking a Wicked esque path by trying to sympathise the mistress of all evil and one of the best Disney villains after Hades IMO.

I can't wait for this movie actually. Looks good to me. I like the song too. Gave it a dark feel to it.

jolie has much talent in her little toe than megan fox has in her whole body

@crimsonlord53: It's a retelling of Sleeping Beauty from Maleficiant's point of view. I see your point though, I can't really tell what kind of audience this film is trying to draw in.

The film certainly looks good visually, but I've learned to never trust trailers. I'll probably wait and see what critics have to say about this before I consider going to watch it.

Well that is going to be a strange crowd going to see this movie which is a good thing I think. Is it a retelling of sleeping beauty or is it based on the book wicked?

This seems to be slowly becoming a new trend. The different take on fairy tales. You have the show Once upon a time, then a game just came out based on fables, and their was also wicked. I hope they don't over-use this concept too much.

Lana Del Ray has sort of sold me but not yet.

it has angelina and magic how can i NOT be psyched for it. she is killing it, so deliciously good at being bad. DIVA! though it most likely wont give an origin which i would like to see and is basically a retelling of sleeping beauty (yawn). here's hoping disney dont mess it up.

and was that angelina singing in the trailer?

@avenging_x_bolt: Same here. If the movies is done like the Show Once Upon A Time then it will be epic, because there is nothing better then seeing how the villain went from pure and good to wicked and evil.

You could put a person's eyes out with those cheek bones.

I've been excited for this since I found out about it last year.

Jolie looks great for this role. The makeup artists can really play with her face and make it look perfect.
