Discover the True Secret of Angela in THOR & LOKI: THE TENTH REALM

Thor and Loki confront a devastating secret.

This July, Original Sin continues to unravel everything you thought you knew about the Marvel Universe as shocking revelations rock the world of Earth and Asgard alike! Sins of the past wreak havoc on the present as the lost child of Asgard returns home in the pages of Thor & Loki: The Tenth Realm – a game-changing 5-issue limited series spinning out of the pages of Original Sin!

Though not of his blood, Odin raised Loki as if he were his own. Alongside his biological son Thor, the two would grow into gods that would shape the very fabric of the universe for generations to come. But Odin had a secret. A daughter unknown until now, and the mystery of her arrival will unlock the secret behind the banishment of an entire realm!

Now, the long forgotten Tenth Realm has returned, and with it comes Angela – the lost daughter of Asgard! And her quest for revenge will cut a bloody swath through Asgard like no other!

“Al Ewing and Jason Aaron have crafted a truly epic story here, brilliantly brought to life by Simone Bianchi and Lee Garbett,” says Marvel Editor Wil Moss. “It’s got everything: Thor and Loki fighting side-by-side! The return of Odin! An ethical quandary that stumps even Loki! An insanely awesome fight between Thor and Angela! And so, so much more. The creative team is really giving this story their all, leading to huge ramifications in the THOR: GOD OF THUNDER and LOKI: AGENT OF ASGARD series when all is said and done. And just wait till you see where Angela goes from here…”

Jason Aaron, Al Ewing, Simone Bianchi, and Lee Garbet are set to take Thor and Loki on an emotional roller coaster, as the sins of their father will be visited upon his children. And the coming of Angela and her kingdom could spell the end for all of Asgard!

What is the secret of the Tenth Realm’s banishment? As Thor & Loki uncover the mystery, they’ll find themselves on a deadly collision course with an even deadlier sister! The sins of Asgard stand revealed and the stage is set for a climactic clash of gods and angels this July in THOR & LOKI: THE TENTH REALM #1!

My body is ready for all the new things Marvel is putting out. My wallet? Not so much.

Is it just me, or does Loki appear to be missing an eye?

You just summed up Original Sin.

@jonny_anonymous: If the point is making me spend all my money on an awesome story then yes it has a point.

I am so excited for this.

Ugh. I wouldn't care about this except that they said it has ramifications in Thor: God of Thunder, and I read that. I don't care for Thor or any of the Asgardians, but I love that series and really wish this would stay away from it.

I still think this is silly.

I would have like this if Angela wasn't his daughter. It kinda ruins the dynamic between Loki/Thor/Odin.

Whats wrong with Lokis eye?

Angela vs Thor sounds pretty awesome.

So will Spawn ever be a part of the Marvel Universe? Maybe in The Tenth Realm?

"An Eye for an Eye" ... ? maybe.

Not really feeling this whole thing, but Angela > Thor. Just sayin.

What is this "with an even deadlier sister!"? I like the idea about a female god along the same tier as Thor but I need a little more. From what I've learned about Angela, there is a lot to be played with if they keep to the character's previous interpretations in other comic books. Angels could be cool and imagine if they brought Warren into the mix with the Apocalypse Twins? I'm already gunning for Angela.

If you look closely it looks more like its swollen shut

Enjoying both God of Thunder and Agent of Asgard so I'll give it a shot.

Looks like a black eye, obscured by his hair to me, but I guess he could be missing an eye.

Perhaps, he could be attempting to obtain Odin's wisdom by sacrificing his eye? It seems coincidental that this'd appear in a Norse comic to me.

Great writing team on this book so I think this idea could work very well for Angela. I do not think it ruins the Thor/Loki dynamic at all adds something new.

I love Odin's facial expression.

I'm too old for this shit...

Angela doesn't fit in Marvel, no matter how hard they push her. She reeks of bad comics of the 'nineties.

I am ready for this!!!!

Nope just Angela

I actually find the whole thing interesting. I'm curious as to how this will play out.

why does thor look like hes about to wack his father?

I feel like this is a way to fast track Angela's character into a future movie plot.

I'd love it! Have to be an 18 with a costume like that though!

About Loki's eye- maybe it has something to do somehow with the Watcher's missing eyes.

My question is if this is going to ship as Original Sin #5.1-#5.5, does that mean it's going to be pulled as part of my digital subscription to Original Sin on Comixology? I really don't want all the extra tie-ins like this, but just the main story. And it looks like each issue of Original Sin is $4.99. What's up with that? I wonder what the prices are for these tie-ins. Anyway, I guess I'll probably have to cancel my sub to Original Sin and purchase each issue I want manually, unless Marvel wises up and decided to call these by their true name instead of Original Sin five-point-whatever.

I was really hoping for a heaven vs asgard story, but i dont think i am going to get that.

I wonder if Angela is also the same girl who gets bitten by a spider at the same time as Pete that we've also mysteriously never heard of all this time and is now going to suddenly appear? :)

This looks awesome why do people complain, it's like they wanna see a Ragnarok story for the tenth time. A Multitude host of Asgardian Angels sounds like a Tale to Astonish me.

if only it was called "Angels: The Tenth Realm"....oh well, looking forward to this sad that i have to go three months without my girl

Posted by themadsurfer

I don't much about her but it seems Al Ewing will use Thor to job against her:

"Plus, it's nice writing a character who can kick Thor's head in any day of the week and twice on Sundays."

I'm digging the idea.
