Moviehole posted a scoop recently the (now long-in-development) Wolverine sequel had been delayed even further due to indeterminate difficulties in securing a shoot in Japan. That would seem to be the latest of many problems the pan Pacific location's brought onto this production. Not only was shooting pushed back initially due to lasting effects from the devastating earthquake the country suffered, it was also delayed even further due to director Darren Aronofsky finding the long overseas commitment to be too great to fit in with his family life.

Despite anything else, the first Wolverine flick still brought in close to $400 mil when all was said and done . This sequel is going to happen, for sure, regardless of any delays.
