Deathstroke Makes His Way To 'Arrow'

Promotional photos for the upcoming episode of 'Arrow' reveal Slade Wilson battling Oliver Queen.

If you're one of the people who haven't been watching Arrow on the CW or you feel that the show had grown lackluster about halfway through the current season (those 'Huntress' episodes were unfortunately, not the best) the teaser for the upcoming episode might give you a reason to tune in on February 6th. Since the very first episode premiered back in October, the show has been showing viewers and fans snippets of Oliver Queen's life on that deserted island. We've seen him learn to hunt and kill his own food, struggle to survive and also learn the art of self defense by utilizing a bow and arrow.

But that's not all, is it? If you're a DC comics fan then you might recall seeing Deathstroke on one of the earliest episodes of this series' first season, and you may have also caught a glimpse of the mercenary's iconic mask. Yet, although he's made several very brief appearances on the show, fans have yet to see a formal introduction between the two characters.

On the February 6th episode of Arrow titled 'Betrayal' fans will get a look at just exactly what happened on that island between Oliver Queen and Slade Wilson (also known as Deathstroke). Not only will we get to see what happened between these two characters, but we will also see the man behind the Deathstroke mask, actor Manu Bennett.

The Huffington Post recently posted promotional images teasing the upcoming episode, giving fans a much clearer look at Bennett as Slade as well Oliver Queen on the island. From the looks of the images it seems as if these two butt heads pretty early on, and the episode appears to promise plenty of action. We don't know about you, but we're big fans of Deathstroke and we are definitely looking forward to seeing these two duke it out next month. What do you think of the images? Are you looking forward to the episode?
