Deadpool #11, What Was Wade's Childhood Dream?

Review for the the Deadpool Vs Bullseye fight.

I mentioned in my review for issue 10 that I wanted more of the fight between Deadpool and Bullseye.  We get a little more of that here.  We also get some more of the Deadpool humor that seemed to be a little lacking in the previous issue as well.

What do you think of Wade's dream?  Is that something you'd like to do someday?  How do you feel about Bullseye's discovery over what he wants to do with Deadpool?  Did you think that last page was a doosie?

This series has been such a fun read.  They should do a Bullseye/Deadpool series or atleast a mini

two quick things

  1. great use of music

I totally agree.  I love this story. Way's pretty much got Deadpool's bit down.  And about 9 years ago Paco Medina drew a little in one of Superman's books, which was awesome back then because they were up against McGuiness' and Wieringo's cartoony-style.  I think Paco's style is perfect for Deadpool.  Who first drew Deadpool in his first on-going series?  Anyway, I just find that funny.  But maybe that's because I am in the low percentile of avid Superman readers as well as being a fan of The DP.

This series is going to be money.  I always put it at the bottom of my stack every month just to know that I will close out my Wednesday of reading hysteria, in hysterics.

By the way, just add to the whole "Bullsy/Deadpool mini" idea, I got your 4 key players.  DEADPOOL, BULLSEYE, TASKMASTER, and DEATHLOK...think about the jokes, people.

I totally loved this issue, i hope this arc gets an awesome ending, and not a letdown

When the hell will writers realize Bullseye doesn't have a healing factor?  Venom "bit off" his shoulder, yet he's 100%...Here I bet he'll be just fine after half an issue...*sigh*.

The onyl way I could get past this speech bubble wade is to think Deadpool remembers the teacher saying Wade even when she didn't.

Good point...That wouldn't be his name at that age.

@k4tzm4n:
It really bothered me actually because I thought this was the best Deadpool issue I had read in a long time. And such a strong screw up lowered the entire issue by letter grade (if that's how you want to rate comics anyway).

Quite possibly one of the best Deadpool comics, Daniel Way has been doing an awesome job.

For Bullseye's comment about liking the idea of killing Deadpool more than actually doing it, I can see it. During Joe Kelly's run, he established them as actual friends, albeit violent ones, and Bullseye has even said that he likes working with Deadpool because Deadpool makes him laugh (one of the few people who finds Deadpool funny, Deadpool's sense of humor tends to either annoy people or make them nervous).

Wuh? Yes it would. In Fabian Nicieza's run on Cable & Deadpool, he established that Deadpool's real name is Wade Winston Wilson (called Wade T. Wilson during Joe Kelly's run). And as for the whole ordeal with T-Ray, it has been left ambiguous as to what actually occurred in his past... it either wasn't Deadpool, or it never happened. Fabian Nicieza's story pointed out that T-Ray first met Deadpool before he joined Weapon-X, but he didn't become Deadpool until after he left Weapon-X. So there's a big problem to T-Ray's story.

I am late to the party with Deadpool and I love it.

Going to start picking up any and all that I can.

@DEADPOOL:
Fabian kinda made it merky yes but I still think Deadpool is not actually Wade. But either opinion on that has merit.
