Been piecing together my new pull list as these have been released with firm dates; so far the, 14th is my busiest week with 5 titles already.

Posted by ComicMan24

Look interesting. Might pick some of thm.

Posted by HubrisRanger

There's actually new art for the first issue of Frankenstein:

Posted by roboticjesus

Havent really read anything with the DCU Frankenstein in it, but have heard he is a bit of a Hellboy ripoff (at least as he appears in Flashpoint and the new relaunch).

Is it just a coincidence that, so far, no comics are coming out on September 21st, or am I forgetting something?

Other than that, my to-buy schedule seems pretty spread out :]

Posted by Emperor Gonzo Noir

These actually look like some of the more promising books of what I've seen so far.

I wonder if now that a new Resurrection Man series is coming out if they'll finally release the old stuff in trade.

Supergirl, Blue Beetle and Legion of Superheroes are all scheduled for the 21st. It is easily the least solicited week, though I suspect that will change.

Zatanna!!! Now please keep the top hat for I didn't find that it conflicted with the new policy statement.

Posted by doordoor123

At first I was excited about of these. Now im ecstatic! These sound much more amazing than I first anticipated. I, Vampire actually sounds REALLY good. Im up for all of these.

Posted by Emperor Gonzo Noir

Also does anyone else find if funny that Demon Knights stars Etrigan and that Etrigan was once voiced by Billy Zane star of the film Demon Knight?
No? Guess it's just me then.

Posted by Adnan
@HubrisRanger: Ah, I must've misread those. Thanks for the reply.
Posted by The Stegman

ugh....i want to read all of them..but for now i'm just gonna read Justice League Dark (due solely in part to Zatanna) Demon Knights, and maybe...MAYBE i vampire.....maybe

Seven Soldiers is really good. Frankenstein is a Grant Morrison creation. The original series didnt feel like Hellboy but this new status quo kind of feels like it.

The writers are good, but the direction I don't think is Pure.

Posted by Obi Wan Kenobi!

It's funny how Cyborg is being mentioned in the same vein as Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman... 20 bucks says Zatanna and Constantine hook up...

The cover to Animal Man is awesome...

I'm picking up Demon Knights..cool premise

Frankenstein reminds me of Hellboy for some reason...I'll give it a try at first...

Justice League Dark for me I think...

a lot of these titles have characters who have some of their best work uncollected, I think it's too much to dream that DC amends that

personally I'm a little wary of this Madame Xanadu in Demon Knights though, I realize old continuity is gone but the Madame Xanadu series that was cancelled for this established that this series couldn't have happened (at least IMO with the Camelot arc and Jack the Ripper arc already establishing her relationship with Etrigan as well, non-existent)

none of these really interest me

Swamp Thing seems interesting, and that cover of Animal Man just looks NUTS.
These'll be up in the air, for me, but all of them look interesting at least.

Posted by Ice Princess

Doing Justice League Dark. Might do Animal Man.

Before anyone starts complaining about Vertigo characters interacting with the mainstream DC heroes - this sort of stuff used to happen quite often in the early days of Vertigo, the Justic League for example made guest appearances in both Neil Gaiman's Sandman, and Alan Moore's Swamp Thing

to be fair though, neither of those instances you speak of were Vertigo books at the time, they have been retroactively made part of the imprint...

you won't be seeing any B'wana Beast or Dolphin in Jamie Delano's Animal Man; Superman in Mark Millar's Swamp Thing; Power Girl in Rachel Pollack's Doom Patrol; Zatanna in Mike Carey's Hellblazer; and the DCU was pretty much pushed to the sidelines of The Sandman really early on, with #8 I'd say, when Gaiman really decided what the book was

also a few minor cameos qualifies as "quite often"?

anyways, I have some sort of interest in each of these books, either good or bad, except for I, Vampire...that one I have absolutely no thoughts about and if I check it out it will be fresh, don't recognize any of the creative team and I never read the old I, Vampire stories...granted, that may be the best one for me because I have nothing to compare it to

@aztek the lost: You must admit, I,Vampire sounds like it could be really good.
Posted by aztek_the_lost

@doordoor123: well, tbh, I just look at it as another vampire book but then again, I love some vampire books including the current American Vampire so I'm definitely willing to give it a try but I have no idea what to expect

I loved Tumor and Echoes by Joshua Hale Fialkov. I,Vampire my be worth a look. JLD, Swamp Thing and Animal Man are definite buys!!
Posted by doordoor123
@aztek the lost: Ive lost faith in anything Vampire, but it doesnt look like this is one of those kind of books. This book looks like its being made to more introduce different kinds of supernatural kind of species into the DC universe. I feel like it could have been made the same if the vampires were demons. Comic people dont really like vampires but im hoping they give it a chance.

Swamp Thing will be on my to buy list..

"not even the combined powers of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and Cyborg can stop."

Cyborg? Really? I just don't understand this fascination with Cyborg....It really needs to be a trio. No good will come from shoe-horning Cyborg in.

Posted by maxicere

Frankestein...  mmm.... not my choise...

Posted by Benzo

Justice League Dark, Resurrection Man and Swamp Thing are the titles that I'm definitely getting! :D
Plus Jeff Lemire+ Travel Foreman+Animal Man are a great combo! (so I will getting that too!)

Posted by JairamGanpat

Swamp Thing and Justice League Dark for SURE!!!!

Posted by Pizawle

With the exception of I, Vampire (seriously DC?!), these are without a doubt the coolest titles of the relaunch with the best creative teams.

Posted by Final Draft85

I, Vampire looks really cool & Andrew Stanton is the name of the Pixar director who made Finding Nemo and WALL-E. That's the first thing that popped into my head when I read the description, Lol.

In the past Deadman can barely keep a mini series afloat yet he is going to be in three titles now??? Justice League Dark, DC Presents and probably Hawk and Dove since he is dating Dove. They sure are making some bizarre decisions.

Swamp Thing & Animal Mans must buy all the way

Posted by JonesDeini

Now that Ponticelli's on Frankenstein I may have to check it out. Over all 3 of these are definite buys

Posted by Darkchild

looks awersome im piocking all these up when they come out

Posted by Evpraksiya

Can't wait to see this Justice League Dark !

Posted by Adnan
@pikahyper: DC Universe Presents will cover various characters, with Deadman just being the first one. He's a natural fit for a dark/supernatural-themed Justice League imo. And I doubt he's anything more than a supporting character, if at all, in H&D. Keep in mind that he was virtually the protagonist of BD, which would mean more people know about him now.

Love these Vertigo-ysh supernatural on-goings! My fav so far!
Too bad we won't have a new Shadowpact book though...

ya I know DC Universe Presents is an anthology but they seem to be leading with Deadman. He has been used more because of Brightest Day and Wednesday Comics and to some extent the Batman: The Brave and the Bold animated series but historically he hasn't been very successful, even a Vertigo revamp wasn't able to jump start him.

@pikahyper: Hmm, perhaps you're right. DC's taking a lot of risks this time though. Apart from that one minor appearance in BD, Resurrection Man hasn't been relevant in years, and his solo series hasn't even been collected yet. I'm thinking that leading with Deadman won't be too much of a problem, but only because of the BD stuff.

@Adnan: without a doubt tons of risks, I'm not bagging on Deadman though I've been a big fan of him since the early 90's and nobody has drawn him better then Kelley Jones. Resurrection Man is more obscure but his appearances in Supergirl back in 2008 were pretty popular as well as his appearance in DC Infinite Halloween Special, I'm a huge huge Resurrection Man fan, got all the original issues as they came out, I'm sure they will start putting trades out for his old series by the end of the year and not having trades of a series doesn't mean much with DC, they are missing trades for lots of popular stuff. They never finished Hitman, the Lobo ongoing, the Demon ongoing and there are still chunks of Hellblazer uncollected.

Swamp Thing and Demon Knights would probably be what I would jump on heavy...
Posted by Omega Ray Jay

I'm liking the supernatural approach but the dark thing just instantly reminded me of Dark Avengers.

Posted by CombatSpoon86

3 Dark books: Animal Man, JL Dark, Swamp Thing
4 Batbooks: Batman, Batgirl, Batwoman, Nightwing
Action Comics. These are all definite pulls.

justice league dark looks cool
