DC Sets Release Date For BEFORE WATCHMEN Hardcovers

They NEED to put the Dollar Bill and Moloch one-shots into them, because frankly I'm counting the months down to when I can get these! I'm so glad this information is now known because I vowed I'd get them all once they were out in trade. At the very least, I know I'll be getting the Dollar Bill one-shot come February next year in anticipation of a signing that Len Wein is holding at my LCS. Really glad you posted this, now I know when to look forward to the release of this event in trade :) Been anxious for some time to read!

@EdwardWindsor: I think they're grouped by writer. Azzarello did Rorschach and Comedian and JMS did Nite Owl and Manhattan, so it makes sense that way that they're grouped together.

I'm kind of interested in all of them, even the Deluxe Edition of Watchmen. I've got the Absolute Edition of Watchmen but it's kind of unwieldy to read, and my old paperback version disappeared Besides, it'll be rad to have them all matching on my shelf. The ones I'm the most iffy on are JMS's titles, but the artists on both are enough to make we want to pick up the books. I guess I'll have to start saving some pennies now to put aside for $150 in comic book purchases in June.

The Darwyn Cooke books are the only ones you'll need. Honestly the rest were a massive letdown.

The Silk Spectre and Minutemen are the only two I really want also. It depends on the coast if I'll get the rest.

I highly recommend for those who haven't read them to pick up the Minutemen and Silk Spectre hardcover, as those are easily the best of the series and are very good. Rorschach might get up there too, but it only has 2 issues so far.

July 23? Really? Sigh. I'm glad they're pairing up Minutemen and Silk Spectre because those are really the only two I want to buy. Maybe I'll get Volume 3 for Dr. Manhattan just because I love the character.

Hmm. I was planning on only getting Silk-Spectre and Minutemen in Hardcover form. Would've preferred each to have their own book--but I guess this saves me money. Cool deal!

I'm lucky that the two series I'm interested in collecting, Minutemen and Silk Spectre, are collected together. I wouldn't be interested in buying a Silk Spectre book if it was paired with any other series.

hopefully they'll put the moloch and dollar bill issues in the ozymadias book. if they do then i will def be picking up all 4 :D
