i always love the fact that superman fanboys are always easy to get butthurt when it comes to Batman they just can't accept the fact that Batman is the KING OF DC Comics!

..no one else is wondering where Bruce magically gained his cape and cowl back?

I think DC's been exposing Superman alot, actually. Man of Steel is set to be released next year, and the animated film Superman vs. The Elite will come out later this year. There's even been rumblings of a new animated show to coincide with MOS.

I can't tell which one I like more. Neither is fantastic, but neither is bad either.

Hey we don't have to go back to the era of Crisis on Infinite Earths where Batman was relegated to beaming his courage or some nonsense to the REAL powers of DC (even though that's frankly the only remotely logical contribution he would be doing in a multiversally collapsing ubervillain), but we really need to let go the collective Dark Knight Returns fanboygasms about Batman.

My point is, everyone is saying how badass Batman is and the writers have all make him seem like a god but if Darkseid wanted him to kneel he could just flick his little finger at him and Batman would be dead. If he's not kneeling it's because Darkseid has no interest in him, and why would he? how can Batman threaten Darkseid at this point? Batman was never meant to fight gods.

I like how everyone thinks Batman doesn't kneel when he fell to his knees in front of Wonder Woman in The Hikateia.

here goes DC trying to make sure everyone knows that batman is theyre mickey mouse...*sigh and here is jim lee trying to donwplay the situation by saying batman not having powers bla bla bla and insinuating he is apart from the justice league. if thats the case green lantern shouldnt bow either..he represents willpower and is techincally not with the justice league but rather with a galactic police force, and he's a showboater, and aquaman shouldnt bow either him just rising up from the sea which he RULES in. wonderwoman doesnt even know what ice cream is, so she wouldnt know what the justice league is and was edging for a good fight, im sure shed fight to the death and not bow, superman is being tortured so he is off the hook, so that just leaves cybord and flash, and ya they might bow. but they arnt techincally part of the league yet. just because they had one panel where they attack at once. point is most of these characters shouldnt be bowing at all. and if they are, then all the characters including batman should be bowing to show how pwerful darkseid is. all they did was show for the 1000000000th time that batman rocks the forefront and me and alotta people are tired of that.

Forget about the radion bullet and remember Superman/Batman when Darkseid kidnaps Supergirl, and Batman beats him in his own strategy game (and taking quite a beating for that)

This is the way I interpret the cover:

Superman and Batman are still the top dog bad@sses......but in different ways. Look at the rest of the league, theyre kneeling. Look at Superman, he's being tortured or is being dealt with in some way because Superman does not kneel.Now Batman is the same, but his bat factor automatically prevents him from getting pwned like Superman......so instead he's drawn resisting to the last breath, refusing to kneel......while Superman is shown pwned because he refused to kneel.

Batman really isnt being singled out and elevated to some God-like level here......not as much as some people are saying at least. Its just that everyone has been on his jock since the Nolan movies. If you want Wonder Woman, GL, Flash and so on to be in the same position as Batman, or even Superman, then write a damn good script and send it Nolan.

(And hopefully, come summer 2013, Superman will have his own Nolan-esque popularity)

So true! It's why I can't read most DC titles, he overshadows everyone and it's so stupid.

The cover is a representation, calm down. The reason Batman isn't bowing down is because he's not even with the Justice League at the moment, remember he took off his cowl and bat-emblem so he technically isn't by their side, so thats why batman is still in the fight.

I guess it all depends on how you perceive it. Sure Batman is resisting but he's not exactly standing tall, is he? He's pretty close to the ground. Furthermore, Superman is copping the most energy expenditure to be forced into submission, so it's pretty safe to assume that he's the biggest threat to Darkseid, not the Bat.

He used to be one of my favourite charatcers when I was watching the animated series in the 90's. Then I started reading him in the comics and how he is always right and always the best and always the one to save the day when in reaility he would be f**king usless to the Justice League.

Batman is probably the most unrealistic and unrelatable character in the DC Universe. I have just really gone off his character. Other characters like Superman and co all are often writen to look like idiots or take a fall just so Batman can look good. It pisses me off.

Look at Swamp Thing and Animal Man both books are awesome but they are not in the top ten even though they are selling. Bats has the top five selling comics so we as consumers has to buy those books and quit saying it the corporations for everything. Everyone one has had or getting a book but hey if it does not sell they will not waste money on it. Money does not grow on trees especially in a declining comic industry.

If there was any doubt that Bruce's will was stronger than any of his literary peers in tights - ask yourself; is it easier to to something you're good at naturally or when you have to work at it ? It's pretty arithmetic, folks.

Next week we'll see the final part of the first arc in JUSTICE LEAGUE. The team has now formed. Will their combined might be enough to stop the threat of Darkseid? Probably since this story takes place five years ago in the "New 52."

Despite the issue being released next week, the actually cover hasn't been revealed until now. DC's The Source has given us a look at Jim Lee's cover marking the possible end of the League.

Jim Lee had this to say:

I wanted to create a cover which resonated with what I consider to be the most classic Darkseid story – namely the Great Darkness Saga – so that entailed the Justice League bowing down naturally to the power of Darkseid. Except of course Batman who, despite not having powers, fights with all his strength in defiance.

If that wasn't enough, DC has also revealed the variant cover to JUSTICE LEAGUE #6 by Ivan Reis.

Outside of the Justice League, Darksied is Superman's foe. So ideally he should get the center shot.

Batman is not a single guy anymore, he is a symbol. And as a symbol, he can't bow down. The Symbol was Superman in the past but now they are making him the ''new Batman'' in the reboot. The thing is , people tend to support the underdog characters because they feel like that Underdog might be one of them.

It was Batman who was the underdog between the Superpowered heroes of DC and Justice League and thats why we become a fan of him.

And now I see some , I won't call them 'Haters' since it is a strong word and it gets used a lot , people complain about his ''Overselling'' , understandibly. Since he become too popular , he became ''Everybody's'' favorite and he stepped up from being the Underdog to Being DA BOSS.

I personally enjoy Batman owning the big powerful guys where the other Meta heroes can't , but I can understand the complains about his status of ''Demigod-hood. ''

That is one AMAZING Reis cover on Darkseid! But Lee's looks awesome as well. Soo want this to be out already so I can read the first Justice League arc! :)
