I really have fear for this issue...ending the arc and darkseid in one issue, i can't wait to see what stupid thing they will use.

I'm betting they didn't reveal it until now because Jim Lee didn't want Geoff Johns to know he made Batman look superior to Green Lantern.

This cover is misleading. No being in the universe can force Batman too bow down. I swear, he's going to pull a gun with a radion bullet out of nowhere and shoot Mr. Mean-Bad-Man-With-Red-Eyes in the face.

Going to sell well again I love this comic.

Awww...should have had Bats with a Batarang or something in his hand to show he really isn't out of the fight and planning on turning the tables.

On a side note, I don't mind the look of Darkseid on the cover as much as I did on the previous issue

I mean I like the character has like Twelve-TEEN spin off titles from Batman to Birds of Prey to Batwing to Nightwing to Detective to etc... the dudes more super then superman .. dont get me wrong but I love batman but GEEZ even Darkseid can`t get him to bow down. He must be part GOD LoL :D

He used to be one of my favourite charatcers when I was watching the animated series in the 90's. Then I started reading him in the comics and how he is always right and always the best and always the one to save the day when in reaility he would be f**king usless to the Justice League.

Well, Johns is writing both Green Lantern and Justice League, so he will probably give Hal his ring back.

LIES!!! LIES!!!! LIES!!!!! ........... lol i agree though, Batman should not be that boss. But C'mon he is the god damn batman (plus he is one of the only relatable, most human like characters fighting alongside DC' GODS, making Batman boss makes us feel Boss; It's a feel good story)

meh this has been very DCnU Hush for me. Ultimately Grant Morrison wrote my favorite Darkseid story. It's kinda hard to follow up a character crashing realities into one another, and sending Batman on a journey through time.

God, Dc is really milking Batman for all his popularity. It's really annoying, they should give other characters a chance to shine.

First of all, the cover is very provocative although I admit that Lee could probably make a stack of paper look compelling. Second - if you have a problem with Batman's marketability and his no longer being 'your' character because popular media loves him I suggest you move on. If you don't like the plethora of titles, don't buy them. Someone is, though. Vote your wallet, folks.

Batman is the most human (literally and figuratively) since he has no "super" powers, its one of the things that makes him so easy to relate to for many people. I think having Batman fight the urge to kneel more than the others is a good representation of humanity's indomitable nature. Batman won't kneel down to tyranny and oppression because the common man won't. At least that is my opinion of it.

It may look like batman's kneeling down but actually,he's reaching out for his gun so he can shoot darkside again lol

@Gordo789:Well dude Batman sells, can you fault them for it. Look at the top five comics that sold last month they were all Batman comics, so quit blaming Dc and blame the consumers that not buying other good books like Animal man, Swamp Thing, Omac, etc. Dc has shown that they would make other books if people will buy them. Take Green Lantern for example, he has his title, New Guardians, the Corps, Red Lanterns. Superman has Superboy, Supergirl, Action, and Superman. So to me everyone has their fair share of books.

Batman is not a single guy anymore, he is a symbol. And as a symbol, he can't bow down. The Symbol was Superman in the past but now they are making him the ''new Batman'' in the reboot. The thing is , people tend to support the underdog characters because they feel like that Underdog might be one of them.

It was Batman who was the underdog between the Superpowered heroes of DC and Justice League and thats why we become a fan of him.

And now I see some , I won't call them 'Haters' since it is a strong word and it gets used a lot , people complain about his ''Overselling'' , understandibly. Since he become too popular , he became ''Everybody's'' favorite and he stepped up from being the Underdog to Being DA BOSS.

I personally enjoy Batman owning the big powerful guys where the other Meta heroes can't , but I can understand the complains about his status of ''Demigod-hood. ''

Outside of the Justice League, Darksied is Superman's foe. So ideally he should get the center shot.

@Kal'smahboi: Not sure if you're trying to incite me there brother or be clever or what-have you. However, I'll amend my allegory by saying that Mr. Lee could make a stack of feces seem Shakespearian in form. Hopefully that tickles the pickle for ya.

Next week we'll see the final part of the first arc in JUSTICE LEAGUE. The team has now formed. Will their combined might be enough to stop the threat of Darkseid? Probably since this story takes place five years ago in the "New 52."

Despite the issue being released next week, the actually cover hasn't been revealed until now. DC's The Source has given us a look at Jim Lee's cover marking the possible end of the League.

Jim Lee had this to say:

I wanted to create a cover which resonated with what I consider to be the most classic Darkseid story – namely the Great Darkness Saga – so that entailed the Justice League bowing down naturally to the power of Darkseid. Except of course Batman who, despite not having powers, fights with all his strength in defiance.

If that wasn't enough, DC has also revealed the variant cover to JUSTICE LEAGUE #6 by Ivan Reis.
